@@TheMatlockBiker it was fun! on the way up. The way down got to be not so much fun. Plan to do it during the week if you do get to do it, not on a Saturday, is all I'll say.
I love watching these videos but I wouldn't ride the Stelvio again due to the amount of traffic including cyclists. I've ridden it twice (both times the other way with many more upward hairpins). First time in 1976 on my much loved Kawasaki Z1A which I bought new in 1974 and second time in the late 80's on my Kawasaki GPZ900R. Looking forward to part 2.
Great road and ride, beautifully captured. Quite busy with traffic. Nicely handled
@@NooBiker thanks. It's even busier on the way down the other side.
Great video, my dear friend ! Well done !
@@svetlioenchev8039 thank you. Going down the other side wasn't quite so good.
@@LordBilious I hope you didn't have an accident...
@@svetlioenchev8039 I don't want to spoil next week's episode, but we all made it home safely.
Ey up
Oh my goodness, that looked like fun. Drove this in a car back in 1990, would love to do it on two wheels

@@stevegray5709 I would ride it again if I could guarantee no other traffic. Part 2 shows why I agree with your sentiments.
Going down to Bormio is even better!
@@jakestrom4906 we came from the Umbrail Pass down the Stelvio when we came to Bormio from Switzerland👍
Oh Lord, imagine there was someone coming down the corner in 3:16. Who's driving that Porsche? Steve Wonder?
@@Rodus76 I did think that myself.
