Hi, good video. In my case the leak is inside the truck. Do you know how to remove the right panels? I wanna reach the pipes to check the leak. Thx.

Really Interesting cheers. Wondering if you can give me some tips on a 2001 A4 Avant B5 2.5TDi. I have wet carpets passenger front and rear foot wells. Pretty sure it's the pipe from washer reservoir to boot lid. Changed rear wiper anyway because it wasn't working but I'm guessing the hose is blocked or split in at least two places. Guessing from the snow tyres on the car its been living very cold and maybe frozen ? Anyway ... Do you happen to know the route of the hose and what interior trim I need to remove to somehow feed a replacement through? Also ... can I get a the washer reservoir if i remove the inner wheel arch passenger side to refit a new hose?
    Cheers

Hi thanks for the comments , yeah you can get to the reservoir by removing the arch liner , I’m not 100% sure on the exact routing .. before getting too involved have you check the air con drain off isn’t blocked and the scuttle drain channels .. these are 2 really common issues for leaking water into the foot wells

@@diydaly Cheers for the reply much appreciated. I had a gander today ... had that flooded battery well issue on a previous audi A4 so was able to eliminate that early on. It turned out that the old rear wiper motor had a blocked jet as well as not working. This popped a hose off in the passenger foot well and left about 2 pints of water under the carpet in the well. I checked the rest of the hose route (removed passenger side lower trim panels and passenger and rear seats) and now with new wiper motor and reconnected hose its all sorted! Thankfully a relatively easy fix. I got another question though if you don't mind.
I have an airbag light on and I need to diagnose it and fix it. I've watched a few vids on people doing this by cutting out the connectors under the seat and joining the wires directly .. but ... I need a diagnostics tool that will give me more than just engine codes to clear the fault light and establish exactly which one is causing the issue. What do you know about OBD code readers? Can you recommend one that's cheap but that will do diagnostics like that? Having to go to a garage 2 or 3 times at £40 a pop for a readout seems like a shitty option! Cheers, J

mega, glad you got it sorted mate! Yeah the undersea connectors are quite a common issue, we regularly hard wire them & it sorts the issue 👍 Im lucky enough to have a fully up to date snap on verus & Bosch diagnostic machine to hand all the time! ive attached a link to a diagnostic machine my mate bought about 6 months ago and its been decent for the money tbf ebay.us/odL6V7
