0:36 It's cool bro...This video is such a great resource for anyone considering getting an FPV drone. Especially loved the part where you showed the different filming modes.
Not me... It's just another one of the failed DJI attempts to get into FPV market. Avata 2 don't do anything useful that you can't do better with a real FPV drone to a fraction of the price. The scenes in this video I would do with a 7 inch FPV drone.
@@Fred_Berg There are very few FPV drones that are worse performers than the Avatas, so just get a good RC-controller and a simulator and start practicing. When you feel ready for it you can go ahead and buy, build or steal any fpv drone... Don't just look at cinewhoop drones because it is really very seldom you need those prop protectors. Just any 5 inch will do if it's durable enough... I could of course recommend you frame... source one... and motors T-motor f40 or f60 and some x-rotor hobbywing stack, foxeer t-rex camera and a rushfpv max solo VTX, Radiomaster ELRS true diversity receiver etc. But if I do that then someone will come and say something else is so much better... so just forget everything I just wrote and do some research and find the drone of your dreams, you will!
@Siamect sorry but I disagree with that statement yes homebuilts are excellent flyers very durable that's true but the dji drones blow away ANY homebuilt when it comes to return to home no homebuilt can match the reliability of dji's return to home and loss of signal features when I fly my homebuilts I'm not pushing them as hard as a dji drone because if something happens loss of signal for example I'm not getting my drone back where as a dji drone if anything at all happens like that I'm 99.9 percent sure I'm getting my drone back and you just don't have that reliability with a homebuilt .
I really appreciate the straightforward review. Even though you crashed the drone initially it doesn’t sound like for you is a beginner FPV pilot you felt that you were prone to crashing all the time? That’s something that’s always worried me about switching to FPV. Also I noticed you were largely using the motion controller. Some other reviews show all these cool shots but I don’t talk about the fact they are flying in full manual mode things like diving off cliffs or waterfalls etc. Not sure how achievable that is with the motion controller.
Thank you, I am from Odesa and even dough I go to Romania, I want to return to help military as drone operator. I have experience with drones for fun but I need to practise to make sure I do the best I can. This video helped me
I got mine yesterday and spent today flying. First time fpv and it was really fun and immersive. I could not figure out how to get to the acrobatic menu though. How do you do that?
I know this is not necessarily meant for stills photography but how is that?..in terms of general comparison?..12megapixel fixed 2.8 aperture..same sensor from the Mini 4 Pro and Air 3?..
Watching from Mandaluyong City Philippines, nice FPV DJI AVATA 2, but I'm so sad because i can't buy, I'm so happy to seeing flying the drone..... thanks for your beautiful review...... Ingat idol
I had already decided to buy the Avata 2, but I was a bit apprehensive because it is so different to anything else on the market, especially with regard to the motion controller, but after watching this GREAT video, I’m going to go for it now..👍
Jeven..myself am new to the to DJI's Avata Fpv style drones..so do you guys recommend a controller over the single "joystick" controls..even using an Avata?..as someone who is used to a gaming console controllers I think I would be uncomfortable with that one "joystick" control?..how do the two compare?..to you get more "feedback" and feel per say over the regular controller over the joystick style one?...any input would be greatly appreciated..thanks
How do you feel about this vs mini 3 pro? I’m buying one this week, First time drone user and I specifically want it for the follow feature. Which one is best?
Wouldn't using wide or normal modes just make the new larger sensor pointless? All it's doing is cropping the footage and using less of the sensor. Why wouldn't you just always shoot ultra wide 4K 4:3 and crop in post
Great review Jeven. Definitely tempted to buy an Avata, on the fence whether to buy a discounted original Avata, or just get the Avata 2. I think the A2 is going to be the winner though. Look forward to seeing how well the cameras on the goggles work for a little special awareness for the pilot.
@JevenDovey Great review, Sir!!! The first UA-cam video I've seen that has a full, practical to-the-point tutorial on how to use the Avata 2. I'm planning on getting one, and as usual, you came through with a full review that's super useful. Only one question, man: How did you get the Avata 2 that close to clip the truck and lose a piece of plastic???? 😅😂 Anyways, great to see a new post from you again and thanks for the review
@lwadjproductions4756 😂😂 DJI is the brand that makes Mavic drones…😂 Just like Honda makes the.., Civic, Accord, and other vehicles 😂😂😂 That was a great joke bro….😎 “ get a mavic “ 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
I genuinely laughed out loud when the drone crashed in the first shot 🤣
Insane footage, I’m jealous!!!!! Excited to upgrade
Footage looks so good out of this drone now. 🔥🔥🔥
0:36 It's cool bro...This video is such a great resource for anyone considering getting an FPV drone. Especially loved the part where you showed the different filming modes.
Your videos are incredibly helping me a lot when it comes to choosing the best drones for me who's actually new in the FPV world
Could you please give us a tutorial on how to make such a studio background in davinci resolve?
Do make a video on mini4 pro vs avata 2
Ok maybe I’ll do that 👍
Please do. Ill subs
Overall is like the first AVATA, but having the ability to do aerobatics with the click of a button, sold it for me. Nice video btw!
The better camera makes a huge difference as well.
It is amazing drone. Reduce alot of unnessary stress pain, cost and times for manual fpv drone...
How long can you fly the drone before the battery 🔋 is empty? What is its maximum distance? Seems like these things would be important to address.
Wow I like the sound of the prop
can that be use to film a soccer game?
How far can this drone go with one battery?
I want to know if I can use the goggles with glasses as that would make me buy one.
you can adjust the diopter on the goggle, not sure if it is enough though
You can also use the lens frames and add your eyeglass prescription to the goggles
Just bought one after seeing this. Just wanna see how it works and might keep it.
Nice Video! How did you put the telemetric data into the recorded video?
Nooo waayyyyy! You guys reviewer got all access to all DJI products. I am jealous!
Yes.. we all are jealous 😅😮😢😂

This seems like solid upgrade over the first Avata. Great review, and thanks for sharing.
DJI is crushing it, definitely picking this baby up
dont crash it or freestyle it .. just that.. the body is made from plastics.. not like old dji avata you can hell bent it
how do you think it is compared to mini 4 pro?
would it have signal in the bush or woods??

Not that i need to fly it in a manual mode but does this drone have a full manual mode? It definitely looks like a fun drone to have.

Soo can you connect the dji avata 2 with the old fpv controller and the googles 2??
It's interesting how your DJI goggles don't seem to have the "defog" feature!
I got mine last month I got the 3 batteries version it’s a great drone and easy to fly
The first thing I think about is how the DJI Avata 2 differs from the Avata 1. Great video again, Jeven.
Interesting have you ever tried luma ai. How does this camera apply compared to the dji mini 3. Cheers
I have not
I get my avata 2 1 week ago I haven’t be able to fly I never fly drone before but so excited
The Dji AVATA 2 can connect to the CONTROLLER 2?
Can one use the controller for practice with the DJI simulator?
How high can this thing go??
What is the sensor resolution is it 12mp or 48 for video?
Dang it man! Now I want one lol! It was awesome to see that thing in action
So much fun. Let’s plan a trip soon and do some more overlanding!
No concern of an Eagle or large bird snatching it out of the air?
Ok I want one!
This drone is amazing
Very informative!
Can we hand catch the avata 2?
What about Remote ID? To fly legally do you need to mount an aftermarket RID module or does this drone broadcast RID?
Its built in😊
Is it actually built in or do you need to have your phone connected to it?
I just ordered it today,I can't wait 5 days.i am gonna freeze myself and have a friend defrost me in 5 days like Cartman😁
Oh no 😮 cancel it and buy a real FPV drone instead!
What’s the music called at the beginning?
you didn't mention you can change settings using just the remote
You explain FPV drone in very easy way 👍
Great video 👌
In your opinion?
Would you use this drone to its own advantage to shoot real estate 🏡 videos?
I dont do real estate videos but it would seem that a drone like the mini 4 pro would be better suited.
I had already decided to buy the Avata 2, but I was a bit apprehensive because it is so different to anything else on the market, especially with regard to the motion controller, but after watching this GREAT video, I’m going to go for it now..👍
Is a license required to fly a FPV drone like this?
This drone is gangster

So do you think avata 1 flew faster?
How do you feel about this vs mini 3 pro? I’m buying one this week, First time drone user and I specifically want it for the follow feature. Which one is best?
If you want the follow feature then stick with the Mini 3 Pro. The Avata is really only for FPV flying.
Wouldn't using wide or normal modes just make the new larger sensor pointless? All it's doing is cropping the footage and using less of the sensor.
Why wouldn't you just always shoot ultra wide 4K 4:3 and crop in post
This drone has Motion Sickness written all over it!
Does the previous remote and googles compatible with the new avata 2 or you have to buy everything to be able to fly? Thank you
Good question, I'd like to know also, I see that the Advata 2 can be purchased separately.
Will be in 2 months with a Firmware update
@@seanmerritt1336 appreciate your answer
Superb as always Jeven, so does the Avata 2 once and for all negate the need to put an Action camera on top, sure seems so?
Yeah this camera is great
@@JevenDovey thanks 👍🏻
So cool. I just got my first drone.
do you think i should upgrade from dji Fpv? will it perform worse in the wind??
Not sure. I never flew the original FPV. Only flown the AVATA series.
Thank you for your videos. What do you use to edit your videos? I’m a photographer of >20 years and new to video with the M3P. Thank you.
Final Cut Pro
Thanks for this video, do you know if it's possible to dive (real dive) with motion controler of Avata 2?
I have to ask, how many outtakes did you have saying "D-G-I"?
I don’t say D G I because the company is DJI. 😂
@@JevenDovey I feel ya! It just rolls off the tongue!
Is it better getting this or the DJI mini 4 pro?
Honestly depends on the footage you want
top video :) What music you used in video ?
Can you take photos?
Yes

Sorry there are no ND filters in the fly more combo at least not in Europe…
great video Jeven as always
Thanks!
How loud is this version?
Way quieter than my mavic 3 pro. By alot.
Cool review 🎉
Now I want this instead of my mini pro 3.
I most envious of the large areas of unpopulated land you have in the US.
Thinkin bout this to chase overpopulated deer out of my yard away from greenery. Thx. -U10
Wow!! Nice video sir
How about that scenery.. gotta love living within 5 minutes of the Barracks next to the Elkhart Cliffs
haha Jeven, where is the ghost video you are pointing to?
awesome as always
Thanks for the heads up. Added the video
awesome!!!!!!
its ideal for people with good eye-hand coordination...otherwise you will have more crashes than a good footage 😊
I would love to get a fpv drone from DJI I just don’t have enough money right now
First nice vid
Thanks!
IT JIST CAME OUT YAYAYAYAYA
Damn so the M4P & now A2 my wallets never gonna recover!
I feel ya i got m4p like 3 months ago and now want this as well......😅
Great video, looks very immersive. I'd probably end up crashing it every two mins. Thanks for sharing.
The horrible propeller sound is the same. That’s enough of a dealbreaker. And how come you made a video without comparing it with the first Avata?
the new one sounds a lot better, but still sounds horrible, when compared with mini4 pro or air 3.
That’s the down side of FPV drones they’re loud
I'm still not convinced about the camera quality. Always a let down with all dji fpv drones...
2319 Maritza Valleys
protection...if u live in USA, otherwise doesn't exist
LOL great Start..
Someone needs to put aeroplane wheels on it. Land like a plane for the fun
Those automated acro moves are super lame and not even usable. I am having fun with mine need to do a video too soon!
Smith Roads
Can i get it in free 😢😢
I'll work for you 😢
Love pictures, hate the noise (that's not music by any stretch of imagination).
ND filters come not with the set... dont oversell it :)
You can buy different configurations. Just depends on what you need
Your audio sounds too artificial, the isolation kinda bugs me. I mean this with no disrespect, just thought you might like to know!
👍
FPV like drone, not a true FPV drone.
FPV stands for first-person view so its not "like FPV" it is FPV.
how on Gods green earth did you manage to crash in that shot... dude sell that drone and get a Mavic!
@lwadjproductions4756 😂😂
