ONE OF THE MOST BEAUTIFUL SONGS THAT I HAVE EVER HEARD BY THESE TWO LEGENDS:):) ALL I CAN SAY IT WAS VERY POWERFUL AND TOUCHING AND IT GAVE ME TONS OF GOOSE BUMPS:):)
Back when great theme songs were still being written for TV shows. It's really a terrific well-written song with a catchy melody line. Couple that with 2 great singers who had hits on various charts and - wham! very cool to see this footage show up on UA-cam!
Connie Martin 70s and 80s had good music,,,,lyrics are understandable and had a meaning,,ofc Passion,,,,what happened?....now all they want is a big paycheck and to have everything catered to them...,as they call themselves 'Divas',,,,,in my day a diva was considered a singer with respect,,,and sang anywhere anyplace,,,etc..,.not these babies that call themselves divas today,,,,and a Diva was a singer from the opra days,,,,oh well,,,thank God for recordings you can playback.....
Went to # 51 (Billboard Country Charts) in May of 1988. Also Louise Mandrell's remakes of Eric Carmen "Maybe My Baby" went to # 8 in May of 1985 & "I Wanna Hear It From Your Lips" went to # 35 in August of 1986. Also Eric Carmen's version of "I Wanna Hear It From Your Lips" also hit # 35 (Hot 100) BUT to # 10 on Billboard Adult Contemporary Charts in March of 1985.
Growing Pains is the greatest sitcom and greatest show ever! It's funny and serious the acting is great it has fun storylines and it has a fourth wall episode and Twilight Zone episode called Meet the Seavers that's very creative and so brilliant my favorite part in the episode is when the set guy carries Ben over his shoulder. It's seriously the perfect show!
"Hey wait, the singer's missing her other sleeve!" In all seriousness, a great version. Reminds me of the "Another World" theme with Gary Morris and Crystal Gayle, which came out in '86-87.
Krypton Feel like Im living in the past still listing to songs from 70s concerts 35 years ago. Those 70s concerts were crazy because of very little Security. Really was nuts people throwing beer bottals on stage. 1 show we had to wait 2 hours some band wanted to play when it got dark outside. It was cool 70s Girls having the hots for Long Hair Rock Stars. Saw Rolling Stones 3 times, Doobie Brothers, Alice Cooper, Bob Seger, Aerosmith.
RIP Eric Carmen. You were part of the soundtrack of some of the best years of my life. 1980s Forever!
So talented & versatile. What a huge loss . 🎸🪽🥀💔Rock on forever, Eric.
Oh boy, she had the chance to hug and kiss this handsome gentleman...Some girls have all the luck! ❤😊

Back in the 80's when singers actually had talent.
yeah, u bet! most singers today only make noise!
the voyager they got sensation and passion about life, today's songs mustly dry and easily get bored...

Louise looks so gorgeous in this video. She's also a highly talented vocalist, and I would love to sing a duet with her.
Was my favorite TV show growing up after Dukes of Hazzard.
Wonderful harmonies. I always liked Eric, clear back to the Raspberries. Louise was always tied with her older sister for Most Talented Mandrell.
