I thought about that but they had stickers on the back of them with the titles on etc so when i returned them i didnt want them to question why the stickers were different etc. probably could of picked them off but I couldnt be bothered haha

Live crash but not dirty platinum 😂 you do get Refund for shipping Mitch but what’s annoying is when you order online you have to pay postage for each item and then sometimes multiple come from same store. I sold my resident evil 1 for ps as I got remaster for GameCube but I still have a RE 2 copy for my PS which I still need to play it’s in the Q 😅
For sure it can be hit and miss! I’ve since got a full refund on all of these so can’t moan there. I did return RE1 as well as I noticed the manual had handwriting over it 🤦🏼♂️I’m currently half way through RE2 with Jill but I’m stuck haha
Some very nice games mate but this is why i dont use cex on line as they send out what ever they like and how that first game didnt get damage in a envolop is well lucky any way nice vid

They should give you full refund if you ordered black label crash and they sent you a platinum. Resident evil i would take in and ask you local store if could replace the case if not if was me I would just keep and find a cheap game at the boot and swap out. Your find a who wants to be a millionaire at somepoint lol. Because if you return next copy might not be with manual. 👍🎮

Why sell the items to CEX mate? They only give you pennies. If you sell the stuff on Ebay you can get the maximum value. Even if you make a profit selling to CEX, the profit will be tiny compared to Ebay.
It's a lot more effort selling on ebay. you have to deal with returns, wait longer for money etc. Don't get me wrong I do a bit here and there but I'm happy exchanging into CEX and getting games. Thanks for the view and comments I appreciate it!
@@retro_rummage_ If you prefer it that way then fair enough. Hopefully selling to CEX is less problematic than buying from them. I ordered 10 dvds from them this week. 6 have arrived so far. . 5 out of those 6 are unacceptable (wrong movies entirely and scratched discs) and they have virtually no customer service.. I don't know how a company can stay in business despite bring so inept and uncaring about their customers.

Glad you enjoyed it. Overall CEX are good but this highlights some of the downfalls.
Should have used the crash bandicoot case for resident evil and killed 2 birds with one stone..

I know mate it’s difficult CEX can be good sometimes and crap others. It’s all part of the fun I suppose 😅

Sorry I forgot to mention that I did in fact order the black label crash bandicoot so hoping for either a full refund or replacement game!
