I feel so bad for him. I dodge a bullet by stoping drinking when i realized i could get addicted. This isn't easy to overcome.

It was a period of clubbing and going out 3 times a week. I was in a bus and i realised how much i crave alchool and if I dont stop i would get addicted. And i stopped but i still enjoy getting shitfaced every few months
@@unwokesociety1624yep, something similar happened with me. I went on a week vacation and drank everywhere I could every single night, even on the plane. I came back, realized I was craving alcohol, and decided to quit drinking for a while as of two weeks ago. It’s always good to be hyper aware of your own body and the signs of addiction when you’re drinking, and to stop as soon as you show the first signs of dependency. It’s easier to quit when you’re slightly craving it than when your body physically depends on it.
I dated a girl for 6 months who was simultaneously dating bottles of pink Whitney and the degree of internal and mental damage I suffered trying to help her is alarming. She was violent, manipulative, hateful, and scared but she didn’t want and help and choosing to walk away was one of the hardest choices I’ve had to make in my entire life. The take away from this is that if you’ve got alcohol problems that’s fine but don’t let that shit spill into other peoples lives they don’t deserve that fucking bullshit. If you’re reading this and you were or are in a position similar to me, I hope you know you deserve better than that cesspool of broken dreams
@@sinjin8576dude that’s exactly how I felt when I reached the age of 23. Things haven’t been the same even years later. I can’t say that I don’t enjoy a drink ever here or their but it usually just ends with a pounding headache. Don’t even get me started with hangovers lol.

That was cold. But pyro is correct. People with disabilities will go to things to make them feel like a normal person. If they have something that will make them more social or they have more memories of being normal while on the drug it will be more reinforced in the brain. Overall people shouldn't do drugs. Better not knowing than knowing.

I first met Joshua at the mall on LI about a year ago. He was just walking around babbling about "being banned" from one of the stores. Took a pic w him, he then waddles away. I saw him AGAIN on the train towards NYC a couple weeks ago, He was chuggin' a white claw, sailor hat n all, took another pic with him, don't think he remembered me tho. Yeah, this is alcohol withdrawal. Withdrawal from alcohol especially when drinking like this can actually kill you. Symptoms range from anxiety, panic attacks, tachycardia to arrhythmias like Atrial Fibrillation, seizures and even death. This dude will probably die if he abruptly stops drinking and continues to not drink without being under medical care.
With the rate of alcohol he drinks. He’s will definitely die from the withdrawal. My guess is if he doesn’t get hospitalized for alcohol poisoning or an alcohol induced accident. He will be a victim to the withdrawal. My family suffers from alcoholism. I would know the affects of it

My ex once brought a bunch of those small mint-flavoured alcohol bottles back with him after he went on holiday to Germany. He lived in a student house, and whenever we had been drinking with his roommates and we were going out or something, we'd do a 'mondwatertje' (Dutch for mouthwash). Student drinking culture in the Netherlands is apparently so bad that we're left out of the statistics for alcoholism because we'd skew them way too much... Weird reasoning, as obviously that doesn't make all of the students who struggle with alcoholism not alcoholics anymore, they still are, but just aren't recognised as such since extreme drinking culture in student associations and student life in general is so normalised. Drugs are less normalised, but still very prevalent in student partying culture, and I'm not just talking about the legal stuff we have here like weed and truffles :/
Its the other way around for me. I was living near the dutch border, and we had a lot of people in our school going over the border to get weed. I basically became a social outcast with 16, 17 because i cant drink alcohol and didnt want to smoke. It got so bad that some of my friends were kicked out of our school, because they couldnt igonre the problem away anymore. Im not saying we should ban alcohol, but here in germany you are allowed to get beer when you are 16 and even harder stuff is pretty easy to get, but everyone just treats it as a "normal way to grow up"
