What cemented Pyro's status for me was when the allegations came around and he gave up his private info that he's into weird furry stuff to refute them. In a way, it only made him stronger and probs even gained him more followers for his strong reaction video.

The stuff Pyro said about cultivating an audience that actually likes you for you, and not for the type of content you make is so true. I've watched Pyro since the fake deep chainsmoker voice commentary videos with Prototype gameplay era and I still watch him cause I genuinely enjoy his personality even though mega long-form content isn't necessarily my favorite type of content. I don't play the games Pyro usually dissects, and tbh I think Breaking Bad was only alright, but I like the way he makes his videos and the way he lets his personality shine through the editing of those videos, so I still look forward to every new upload just the same as I did like 6 years ago.

(It's scary to think it has been 7 1/2 years) You are probably my favourite youtuber of all time. I think the reason for that is that while you and your content obviously became more mature and of higher quality over time, going from MLG videos to CoD AW commentaries, ASOT, Game Reviews and what not, we as a fanbase grew up alongside with it. Pyro man I've been watching your stuff since Middle School and I'm almost out of College and actually doing stuff on UA-cam. It was kind of crazy growing up alongside your content from MLG to daily commentaries to more long form stuff. You've honestly been really inspiring no matter what era you were in. Your MLG stuff was really inspiring because that's something that you didn't really see in the mid 2010's. That level of editing was insane and kind of what got me into the whole thing. Daily commentary videos were inspiring in the sense that you just kind of stuck with it for a while, and you wouldn't be here without it. The long form stuff is where it's at and what I want to pursue more. That level of connection that people can have with games in amazing and finding people who are also into it and start discussions in the comments is what I really like. Thank you Pyro.

I'm proud to say that I was a regular viewer when the "so guys we did it video" came out lol. But honestly tho it shouldn't be too surprising that you have so many long time viewers, your content has only improved in quality ever since your started UA-cam and your audience has grown alongside it. The same ppl who found mlg teletubbies funny when they were 13 probably just grew out of it but unlike other channel's who's audience outgrows them, this channel grew alongside it making it pretty understandable why me and many others never really stopped watching. I’d argue the reason Morgz “fell off” is more in terms of views to subs. You have far less subs yet around the same monthly views if anything it just means you’ve cultivated a larger following that is more dedicated and willing to watch and rewatch your videos

I watched you pyro since I was 14 in the leafy clone days I believe. I'm 18 now and still love your content. You've perfectly grown and matured your content and you're one of the few I still continuously follow.
I remember watching your old mlg videos, and i've realized how your content has changed at the same pace i've gotten older. As a child the mlg videos gave me a good dopamine hit with the bright colors and loud sounds. I'm pretty sure i watched some of your videos multiple times a day for weeks on end. I remember finding your video announcing you were done with mlg and then completely forgetting about you for some years. At some point during your leafy era i looked you up again and fell in love with your videos all over. After a while i stopped watching your videos as regularly because i grew tired of all the drama, and coincidentally you stopped getting involed in drama around the same time. Today your main channel videos are some of my all time favorite videos, and although the pyrolive content can feel a little bland at times, it's still nice to support you and see how you're doing since i've been watching you for all these years.

I decided to check Morgz's newer videos out of curiosity and they're pretty enjoyable. Most importantly, all the interactions between everyone feel extremely genuine, as if this is how they'd interact if the camera was off. I don't really get that from a lot of UA-camrs who often have multiple people in their videos so it's extremely refreshing to see.
About that study you mentioned on money and happiness. You're right those were the results however there were a bunch of methodological flaws in that study which made it hard to assess past the $75k a year range (i think it was that, whatever the threshhold was). Just thought id clarify even if not many people see :)

I've watched Pyro since MLG, and I think the courage to switch up the content was and continues to be something that will always keep things interesting. It's risky in the moment obviously, but looking back I genuinely don't think I've not enjoyed a single phase of Pyro's uploads when talking about the context and timing they were uploaded in.

Pyro, I was introduced to during Leafys prime. At that time I wasn’t very into your content but as I revisited I watched old and new vids and Far Cry 3 vid came out as few months later. I was officially hooked on your review and analysis content. So I’ve been around for a minute but stayed consistent the past few years :)
I’d argue the reason Morgz “fell off” is more in terms of views to subs. You have far less subs yet around the same monthly views if anything it just means you’ve cultivated a larger following that is more dedicated and willing to watch and rewatch your videos

I have been watching since the MLG phase, the commentary while game playing in the background, and now with the long form content. The channel matured, like myself during all those years I guess. When I heard of the allegations, I didn't want to believe it at first and was relieved when I saw that video you released talking about your side of the story. You're a good man, whether or not you are into furry inflation. We all have skeletons in the closet after all. In the end, I did watch for you and I'm happy to see what's coming next, haha.

I subscribed to you after watching the Airplane Mode review and a couple UA-cam drama commentary videos. I never thought I would enjoy full, in-depth analysis of horror games (watched them multiple times), much less that I would sit through, and enjoy, an eight hour long video on a TV series I had never heard about. I don't know if this comment will motivate, or even reach you Pyro, but I've always loved your content. I've been following you since the MLG era, and truly enjoyed your montages. I still remember your first video with voice over commentary, I was surprised of the change in format, but loved from day one, and never once looked back at older videos with nostalgia, not because they were bad, but because you simply transformed the essence of the channel reflecting yourself. I've been subbed since the 2016 le deep voice Leafy style videos (not that it really matters now but always thought you were way funnier than him) and I think your old audience stuck around because you and you content matured with us and I can honestly say you're one of my favourite UA-camrs now.

I watched you pyro since I was 14 in the leafy clone days I believe. I'm 18 now and still love your content. You've perfectly grown and matured your content and you're one of the few I still continuously follow.
I remember watching your old mlg videos, and i've realized how your content has changed at the same pace i've gotten older. As a child the mlg videos gave me a good dopamine hit with the bright colors and loud sounds. I'm pretty sure i watched some of your videos multiple times a day for weeks on end. I remember finding your video announcing you were done with mlg and then completely forgetting about you for some years. At some point during your leafy era i looked you up again and fell in love with your videos all over. After a while i stopped watching your videos as regularly because i grew tired of all the drama, and coincidentally you stopped getting involed in drama around the same time. Today your main channel videos are some of my all time favorite videos, and although the pyrolive content can feel a little bland at times, it's still nice to support you and see how you're doing since i've been watching you for all these years.

I decided to check Morgz's newer videos out of curiosity and they're pretty enjoyable. Most importantly, all the interactions between everyone feel extremely genuine, as if this is how they'd interact if the camera was off. I don't really get that from a lot of UA-camrs who often have multiple people in their videos so it's extremely refreshing to see.
About that study you mentioned on money and happiness. You're right those were the results however there were a bunch of methodological flaws in that study which made it hard to assess past the $75k a year range (i think it was that, whatever the threshhold was). Just thought id clarify even if not many people see :)

I've watched Pyro since MLG, and I think the courage to switch up the content was and continues to be something that will always keep things interesting. It's risky in the moment obviously, but looking back I genuinely don't think I've not enjoyed a single phase of Pyro's uploads when talking about the context and timing they were uploaded in.
