  • Kimchi adds tons of spicy and savory flavors to dumplings! A family favorite! Learn useful tips for making kimchi mandu as well as how to make different shapes of dumplings.

    ►Ingredients
    30 - 35 dumpling wrappers
    2 ounces dangmyeon sweet potato starch noodles, soaked in warm water for about 30 min.
    1 cup packed finely chopped kimchi
    8 ounces tofu
    10 ounces mung bean sprouts, sukju namul
    1/2 medium onion
    2 to 3 scallions
    8 ounces ground pork or beef (or mix)
    1 tablespoon minced garlic
    1 teaspoon finely grated ginger or juiced
    1 tablespoon sesame oil (or perilla oil)
    1 tablespoon soy sauce
    1 tablespoon gochugaru (adjust to taste)
    salt to taste about 1/4 teaspoon
    pepper to taste about ⅛ teaspoon

    I like the grid on the bottom - I guess if they side on a steam tray that's too solid they stick? I am very hungry now 😂😂👍👍

    Hello, if I freeze the dumplings after steaming, what is the best reheating method to eat them? Is the microave ok to do this or would it dry the dumpling too much?

      You can cover with a wet paper towel or a wet small kitchen towel to prevent the skins to dry out in the microwave. Or Steam them.

    I was wondering you said dip your dumpling into flour, so dumpling does not stick to plate. Could I substitute tapioca flour? Thank you.
