    the background music makes me want to move up Northern Oregon, live in a modest cabin, open up a cabbage farm and drink tea every morning.
    great video too! 🙂

    I had some of those fish shaped pastries when I lived in Korea. They were a popular winter treat. They were delicious!

    Thank you for the recipes, I've just made the granola bars, exactly what I have been looking forward to making! I swapped the pecans for walnuts, absolutely great taste and keep me going a long time. Also not possible to eat too much, they just fill you up quickly. 🙂

    Oooh can you post the recipe for those bars? My grandparents aren't healthy in their eating habits and love sweet stuff. These would be perfect to make them. Also, how much dry fruit would you recommend if I'm adding it in, and should I add more wet ingredients to balance it? 👩‍🍳

      Yes here it is! I think you could put up to two cups of toppings, replacing the nuts/chocolate in the recipe! simplybychristine.com/journal/2020/what-i-eat-in-a-day

    I once heard that coconut oil is not that great for cooking or eating because it contains mainly saturated fats. I would use another oil, those granola bars looking great tho :)

    • @acmulhern
      @acmulhern 3 роки тому +1

      Saturated fats aren't the devil people make them out to be. They're good for skin health for example. Also, there's different types of coconut oil that are more suited to high temperatures than others.

      @@acmulhern nah, of course, there's no evil food, but for my hereditary genes (lol) i must be careful :) with that and Many other things tbh hehe

      She eats healthier than me. That corn and broccoli would've been doused in butter if it was mine lol. I gotta cut back

      You can definitely swap out for another oil if you prefer. I don't eat coconut oil much besides in this recipe and other vegan baked goods, I just happened to have some in the pantry but when I don't have it I'll use any neutrally flavored oil!

    Where did you get your metal tiffin container

  • @baymom6829
    @baymom6829 3 роки тому +2

    I realize that you have brought your own container for the snacks you bought. So do you always have empty containers with you?
    It makes me think that when order take out food, I end up with plastic containers and maybe I can be there little early to give them my own container so I won't end up with more plastic waste.
    But will they except it?

    • @simplybychristine
      @simplybychristine  3 роки тому +1

      Yes having an empty container is always great in case you want to get some things to go! You can always call beforehand to ask if they accept clean containers for take out food.
