    You may also want to take the lid off the Romertopf for the last 10 minutes to brown your chicken more. It adds flavor, too.

    Thank you so much for your Römertopf (and other) recipes! Three years ago the whole youTube had maybe 3-5 Römertopf recipes altogether --- and now the great Roman clay pot is finally making a very welcome statement.
    (I would also add to the chicken one quartered onion and a couple of sliced celery stalks just for extra flavor.)
