    Not only was the chicken delicious, but the broth was amazing with garlicky and lemony flavours! You have to try this. If you want a link to find the clay pot, let me know in the comments.

    Funny to see a Römertopf-cooking in english. I just bought one AGAIN, because these pots are now sold extremly cheap at second hand shops around here in Germany - they were used by older people in the 80s and were manufactured just a few kilometers from my hometown. Haven't tried cooking with the pot, yet. But I remember all the delicious food from my childhood when I see this video....

      There was a place in Temple Street, Kowloon that served rice with sausage served in a crock pot. The rice was crispy at the edges and so delicious! They would cook the crock pot rice over these ceramic charcoal braziers and serve it in the actual crock pot. Wonderful! I really miss living in Hong Kong.

    Love anything with lemons involved - always have 3 lemons and 3 limes in the fruit bowl for meals - might fry some sea bass tonight, and then get those citrus fruits in action - a few red and yellow peppers along side, should be good. Plus, I notice your produce is yet again from Aldi.

    • @andrewwinton4608

      And some olive oil I brought back from Italy - straight from the olive groves (is groves the right word?) of Bardolino.

    • @LazyCookPete
      @LazyCookPete  5 років тому +1

      The lemons and garlic really gave this topf a boost. I used that all natural Italian Arosto seasoning again, which added some awesome herbal flavours too. Aldi is my go to store for my twice-weekly shopping, I seldom shop anywhere else. I should get commission from Aldi! 😆
