I can’t believe this video doesn’t have more views. For starters it’s a great educational video of lessons learnt and the basics of baboon society. 👍👍👍😀😀😀

Dr. Spencer is the kind of scientist we so badly need. Rather than unquestionably following the popular dogma of his discipline he uses his obviously superior intelligence to think of new solutions to old problems, and especially to NOT be afraid of telling the old guard exactly what he thinks of them.

Thank you for sharing nice video very informative learning a lot, I really like watching monkey channels, like Arros Marisco monkey channel learning more about Rhesus Macaques in Hong Kong Mountain Hill now known as Monkey Hill.

It's obvious there is a lack of communication between the public and authorities this would not happened if people were more informed

Wow. Not one person thought to consult a scientist or behavior specialist before shutting down traffic to fight the GOOD fight (face mask and all)? This is really eye opening about our society now. Who needs a science based education when we have Facebook or Twitter? Good documentary! Thank You!

It's truly mindblowing that people encroach on their habitat then turn around and think they know what's best for the baboons. Don't believe there were any ill intentions at work in regards to bringing Kataza back to his "family" troop but human values and human emotions are for humans. To apply them to baboons, or any other animal is arrogant to say the least.

The lack of student education is responsible for what happened to this baboon and future baboons. The education system is spending more time training students to be emotional talking activists puppets, not critical thinking, highly educated students.

Simple solution. Contact Jane Goodall. She is the ultimate primatologist out there. The city people should listen to her speak. She doesn't have a lot of time left so I highly recommend she be contacted asap.

I guess you forgot to mention that the land was inhabited by humans too, before the Dutch people arrived...

What needs to be done is spay and neuter to aviod in breeding. If they shuffle males around it would work

Your talking about a animal! A diseased, demon spawned rodent. So mankind should just stop because of these things! Wipe them out. They are just an animal, not a human being!

The humans wearing face masks outside in the fresh air! I never seen anything as funny. Watching too much Facebook and other social media is hurting humanity

Its for the primates supposidly so we dont pass pathogens to them that they have no immunity to.

The reason why they are wearing face masks is so they don't catch one of the many diseases that baboons carry! Ever see the movie outbreak. About a monkey that spreads ebola or mutabi virus. All of humanity could be wiped out from the diseases these things carry. Face masks? Ha, they should be wearing hazmat suits around these filthy demon spawns!
