Welcome to Ukraine, a great beautiful country with the large history! Lviv is my love, for me the best city ever. And please remember that our capital is correctly written and sounds as Kyiv - not Kiev (Kiev is a Russian version, but we are Ukraine!)

Ukrainian mentality. You want to brag about someone else's achievements, someone else's civilization and culture, you want to brag about a Polish city, Polish architecture, you want to brag about a Polish city built by Poles. What is there in Lviv that Ukrainians can boast about? Bandera monuments, nothing more. Lviv is a royal Polish city.

Lviv is a showcase of Poland, not Ukraine. This city has been Polish since 1345 and it owes its appearance today only to Poles. Apart from Lviv (a historically Polish city), Ukraine has no other city so beautiful. Forming an opinion about Ukraine based on Lviv is a mistake.
Welcome in Ukraine and in Lviv especially!!! But for future true name of our capital is Kyiv not Kiev(this is a Russia analogy).

Lviv really is a lovely little city and you certainly had fun trying out all those places. I loved the chocolate factory, where my friend and I bought a selection of individual filled chocolates and took them up to the cafe to consume with our coffee, and unbelievably cheap. Great coffee culture in Lviv too. That was in 2017.

You missed Anti Aircraft gun in Kryievka and a Mason restaurant above it. Beer museum is in a complete different place (totally worth visiting). Pravda is called a beer theather. I think almost everyday there is live music concert in the evenening. You can find some moview with their performance.

I used to live in Lviv, and there was a full month of rains(count it myself). Basically it was some rain in each day.

Дійсно Чернівці варто відвідати, адже це єдине місто в Україні в якому змішалася архітектура та культура 5 різних народів: євреїв, румунів, українців, австро-угорців та росіян. При цьому, найбільш відчутним є вплив австро-угорців. На жаль, архітектура в не найкращому стані та потребує реставрації.

Lviv was a very multicultural city in the past centuries, this is why it's architecture is so leaning to the West. Established by the Ruthenians/Rusyns, then went Polish (it was one of the grandest cities of Poland for many years, 86% of the inhabitants were Polish-speaking in the 1930s when it was a part of the 2nd Polish Republic) and now it's mostly inhabited by the Ukrainians. During those years Lviv had many Jewish inhabitants, but also Germans and some Hungarians, especially during the Austro-Hungarian rule. Now it's in Ukraine, where it should be, but we, the Poles, love to go there and feel like we're in a friendly, familiar place :)

Hi there! Thanks for popularizing Ukraine. I have been a lot of EU countries. And then I understand we have uniq touristic potential. But our government does nothing to increase tourism in Ukraine. As example we have a lot of conceptual restaurants, great food culture, lot of good craft brewery.

My 2nd Great Grandparents moved from Lviv (then Lwów when it was in Poland) during 1918 and 1919. They settled in Pennsylvania. I want to visit Lviv and were traces of my ancestry are from.

Today i met Someone from Lviv with his whole Family at Dresden train station and asked for help for translation and to get his SIM card and directions. He showed me some Picture from his Appartment after the the Strikes on Lviv's Airport. it's so sad to see this Video and see what is happening these days for such wonderful country and city.
