I had the privilege of seeing SRSQ perform at a show with a few other bands earlier this month. They came on right after a hardcore band, and the transition from the absolute best type of chaos of shoving one another around and helping catch stage-divers to the melodic, mysterious, and touching sound of SRSQ was seamless and truly unforgettable. I was absolutely mesmerized by their sound and energy, not to mention Kennedy's stage presence. Dissertation aside, I'm absolutely in love with this band, especially this track, and so thankful I had a chance to see them perform live. ❤
I'm a metalhead since childhood...and people don't understand why I love dream pop and synth wave ( maybe I'm an alien )...but I love this feeling and gives chills in my spine with this kind of music 🎶🎵🎩🖤🦇🕷🕸🔥🙏🌠

I'm obligated to chime in here as well. My favorites from the past year include Azure Emote, Eternal Champion, Havukruunu, Malokarpartan, Melted Bodies, High Spirits, some others. Metal is a huge part of my purview. But artists like SRSQ, Tempers, Drab Majesty (thanks Dais Records), Mothlite, Miracle, Wingtips... The whole dark-synthpop dream-pop, coldwave, postpunk, whatever-gaze sort of thing is just glorious.
Those people that don't understand don't know good music...this women is by far if not one of the most hauntingly beautiful voices I've ever heard..her record Unreality amazing!! Check out Drab Majesty if you haven't already, talk about feelings!

For me Kennedy's music is like the stuff that mostly stayed in the 80s because it wasn't top 40 material but when the people who are meant to find it do, it's a whole other experience. Like when I was in my mid-30s and found Ultravox. Some music is just so much better than the size of its audience and when people do find it, they know they've found something special.

I've just found out SRQS and them are us too recently, no need to say that I'm loving it, I'm also a huge fan of metal and electronic music but I'm afraid that i don't have almost any knowledge about darkwave even though I've listened some stuff along the years.
The vocalist is/was Cash Askew (R.I.P.) He died 2016 like other beautiful young people in "oakland fire". I spend a half day with researching documentations and news about this tragedy - and i cried also. Check also out the beautiful young Lady "Michela Gregory" (20) who isn't anymore ... Since this Video i hear everything of the Band "Them Are Us Too" and of cource "SRSQ" Many Greetings from Germany - Rocking ED

Kennedy Ashlyn's vocal is fantastic and somehow in the deeper pitches reminds me of Dead Can Dance's Lisa Gerrard. This tune is absolutely amazing.
