does anyone know what he does differently to get the serve to kick as opposed to down the middle? (yes i know i see what he does but im not entirely certain what change is the one that matters most to get this). rogers kick serve is by far my fave serve.
Alexander Balog i wouldn’t say im good at all at kick serving. Get it sometimes. Is a big component of kicking it giving it that slice for it to kick vs hitting it flat?
it's the camera angle guys, same as on the tv. it may look in, but in reality it's half a foot to a foot out. if it was a bird's eye view then you guys would see
I would urge people to watch this on 0.25 or 0.5 playback speed to really be able to study this roger federer guy. He seems like he knows what he's doing. The serves are great at slowback speed.

Alexander Balog thats what gives it that bounce high off the ground, aka kick.
