Megan D .rite! this movie is so old but its New to me.. the little boy who played young mc hammer is grown, I remember him from parent hood he was cee cee friend.
I was in the 5th grade when “Please, Hammer, Don’t Hurt ‘Em” album came out. He was huge! He was selling albums, had his doll, & his own cartoon. He was like James Brown of our generation. He was just amazing!
Conviction of self is powerful. Having the courage to bring a vision to reality is one of the deepest spiritual journeys, that one can take. You gotta believe💯
It seems like he was an outstanding person. he never left his family, wife and people he grew up with.. weather they had talents or not.. he supported them
This is by far one of my favorite movies… I’m a huge Hammer fan. He was a stand up guy. More people need too see this and it’s sad that UA-cam is the only platform you can watch this on. His story needs too be heard. Thankful I finally found this
What I really love out of this is through all the hard times him and his wife stood by their vows before God and their witnesses. this is awesome I like the movie what he needs to understand sometimes we just too nice and people will take you down including family and friends When is our goal so are they!
Buying a $10 million house in a state with high property taxes, buying thousands of pairs of shoes and suits and over a dozen luxury cars. I think if he had been modest with his personal purchases, he would have been fine even with the large payroll.
Taxes, that's how. The government gets a large portion of your paycheck, the more you make the more they take. If you don't have someone around you that knows about finances you're screwed
The more you make the more they take doesn't necessarily apply to all when you see multi millionaires & billionaires only paying 8% tax and people making a lot less money pay over twice that much. The thing is you can't spend more than you are making and expect your wealth to grow. You need to pay attention to your finances, make good investments, spend wisely.🙂
@@pjmoneybags2780 The government take all that money in taxes and in return they give billions upon billions to other countries including rebuilding the cities we destroyed we turn around and build back after going war with then and there’s more
I really enjoyed this movie ... again!!! I hate when people try and make fun of him. He went wrong trying to employ his whole neighborhood and beyond. I think he’s a hero of sorts. Yeah his name was Hakim and he played a role in Moesha with brandy and Ray J it was sad how he died I think he died on a motorcycle accident.

MC Hammer was different. God had his hands on him. I love this movie. This is my first time seeing it.
“Pumps and a Bump” was fire 🔥
Someone said in the comments they didn't know how this got on their timeline. Idk...but I think that we needed to see or get reminded again how its important it is to have financial literacy. Generating great wealth should be transferred through the generations not in one's lifetime. As black ppl Hammer's experience is a learning lesson to not make the same mistakes twice. God Bless.
Jessi B. Amen!!
Man! This!
Love it
Jessi B. ....what I notice about most of these pass celebrities..... They would spend heavy and do less investment.... Does not matter how much wealth you have if you don't invest for it to grow it will vanish like that....
The kadashians, j lo, and a lot of celebrities now are investing in other things to keep their wealth growing via different businesses
Financial literacy bingo
Sometimes the lord will allow you to make it ,and when you feel like you on top of the world he will knock you down to humble you and let you know he’s your source for everything !!!!

Who could sample Prince's classic song, "When Doves Cry?!"
And make it sound like Fire🔥, with a religious message?! 🙏 Who else, but MC Hammer!!🔨
Prince NEVER licensed his music to anyone when he was alive!!
But he let MC Hammer sample this classic 25X Platinum selling song,

MC Hammer will always be one of my favs. I remember going to the To Legit concert. He helped so many and went bankrupt behind it. He was and still is an amazing person. Thanks for the upload. 🤗🤗
Yes I remember going to that concert back in 92 all I have to say he put on a good show.
I'm glad this was recommended; I don't think I ever seen this.
This man gave a ton of people jobs.....and he's still living well.
I watched this flick with Hammer last year. I told him "thank you for doing your best to keep the People in your Heart", after watching this. He said "I don't know any other way to do it, I've got God in my Soul".
🧢
I met Hammer in person, like many people, and he was gracious humble and I had no idea the full circle he had been through. I love this brother so much more. Amazing life story Hammer.

Mc Hammer is a great man I met him once he's a down to earth talented man. Who helped PAC get ready for his wings. The actor who played him did a wonderful job.
Seen Hammer in concert, but didn't have the pleasure of meeting him. Maybe one day I hope. And you're right, Lamont Bently was very talented and did Pac justice on this movie. I remember him from the TV show Moesha. He died a few years after this movie came out. RIP Lamont and 2Pac.🙏🙏

This is The Greatest Movie I've Ever seen I had no idea he had a movie I cried watching it he's relationship with he's wife and friends Hammer You The Man Still 2018 Still the Man A Man Of Faith A Man Of The Most High Yah
It's good not to always judge individuals off of what society thinks they should be. This is my first time watching his story and I am so proud of him and what he accomplished. God is good all the time! P.S., my mom passed in 2016 and she requested at her funeral, M.C. Hammer's Do Not Pass Me By to play. That was her favorite uplifting song. M.C. Hammer, you are appreciated!
Those dancers were leaches, they only cared about the money and didn’t even appreciate Hammer as a person!!! Choose wisely those you choose to help!!!
😂 appreciation is not a acceptable payment for bills& rent unfortunately
In 92' my mom took me to the mc hammer jodeci concert here in Detroit and it was awesome I remember he hugged her and took off his chain and gave it to her the diamond shaped one. She gave it back to security though

This is a really good biopic on MC Hammer
Romany Malco did a great job portraying him, from him being a preacher to him being a big time rapper
This movie really gives us a glimpse into the ups and downs of the rappers life
I have to admit, the scene where he is rapping in his church was pretty cool, how come gospel can't be more like that these days
All the dancing in this movie were amazing

This is by far one of my favorite movies… I’m a huge Hammer fan. He was a stand up guy. More people need too see this and it’s sad that UA-cam is the only platform you can watch this on. His story needs too be heard. Thankful I finally found this
Congratulations to MC Hammer for leaving that horrible life behind, and staying with his spouse and child.❤

What I really love out of this is through all the hard times him and his wife stood by their vows before God and their witnesses.
this is awesome I like the movie
what he needs to understand sometimes we just too nice and people will take you down including family and friends
When is our goal so are they!
Nothing better than an artist showing his love for the Lord
I don’t understand how Hammer went broke. “Can’t Touch This” literally took over the world.
The government ,state takes all that money from our checks and gives billons of it away to other countries
@@pjmoneybags2780
The government take all that money in taxes and in return they give billions upon billions to other countries including rebuilding the cities we destroyed we turn around and build back after going war with then and there’s more
I really enjoyed this movie ... again!!! I hate when people try and make fun of him. He went wrong trying to employ his whole neighborhood and beyond. I think he’s a hero of sorts. Last I heard is that he was investing in tech companies in Silicon Valley. I wish him the absolute best along with his wife and their children.
Thank you for being able to have this movie available to us!!!!!!
