Morocco formally recognized the United States by signing a treaty of peace and friendship in 1786, a document that remains the longest unbroken relationship in U.S. history. Obviously their sardines must be good.
It was also a formal recognition that US commercial vessels were no longer under the protection of the British Navy, leading to increased piracy upon US ships in the Mediterranean, which ultimately led to the Barbary Wars, creation of a permanent US Navy and the US Marines (source of the "shores of Tripoli" in the Marine Corps Hymn).

The chicken of the sea? In Louisiana Sauce, great snack when you super hungry and come in from cold dreary fall day. Make sure to eat with the open window. Keeps the air fresh and you get the fish sensation when it all coagulates in the mouth with a cold breeze. Be hungry like I said because you’ll salivate better thus rinsing the mouth between bites, which prevents oily buildup in mouth. Then when done and the hot sauce burns a tad really get the flavor by inhaling the cold air this cause you to salivate and clean mouth more. Personally it’s very meditative as far as snacks go.
