@YnigosindoXD krita isn't good with animation though. there's a reason ed only animates traditionally on it, cause it can't do anything else. I use it for drawing and painting, but NOTHING else.

@YnigosindoXD I love the software but if it had some of opentoonz's features it would be perfect.

I’m using OpenToonz 1.7 and this tutorial is still very relevant. I have always wanted to get into animation but all these softwares were too confusing and complicated, so I’m glad I found a UA-camr that can help me learn the ropes. Thank you so much for making this video.

hello sebastian, i needed help in opentoonz with something less conventional, i don't know why but the opentoons brush doesn't work correctly with my drawing tablet, i wonder if there is any way to make a common bitmap in another program for example just with basic colors, and after that convert that bitmap into a smartoonz level. My intention with this is to do just my coloring step in Opentoonz, and everything else in Krita, separate the colors by black green blue red and yellow and do a kind of anime coloring, with the "autopaint lines" function, the problem with all this is that a bitmap exported layer cannot be converted to a smartraster level, can it? Thanks in advance!
