I've watched your channel for years. I'm 46 years old. Although your channel does offer much on aging beautifully. Yet your channel surpasses age. It's enjoyable. It's relatable for many age groups. My condolences to your family for the loss.
Just an FYI if you watch UA-cam videos on an iPad like I do you cannot see the community page. It is not available to iPad users. Now if I go to my iPhone I can see the community page, however, it’s very rare that I watch UA-cam on my phone. Also, I have never received an email from UA-cam about it community page post for anyone that I’m subscribed to.

My sister turned 70 in Feb. this year ( I'll be 67 in may ) and she cried for week because she felt all those past years she didn't have because of a busy life the years rushed by unnoticed ( and I also feel that ) so I suggested when we have a catch up to reminisce about our fun days as teenagers , the discos , great music , boyfriends and what clothes we wore ( we would go out together ) and it's a reminder there was a fun life before getting busy with work , husband, kids , looking after ageing parents and so on , it helps you to keep things into perspective and enjoy those carefree days 😊 💜 🇦🇺

20 years ago, I would take my mom to luncheons with her former co-workers, all in their 80s+, & listening to them was an education! One memorable time, a gal said, "You know what I discovered this week? I can't jump!". They had all also discovered they couldn't get up off the floor -- these abilities slip away when we're not looking, so being reminded is such a great service, Patti! It's true that some of us who are younger than 65 (barely😜) are concerned about getting older but I just want you to know that I watch because you inspire me. You're so pretty and graceful, positive and full of life. You are proof that getting older does not mean we don't have anything to offer. It's exactly the opposite. Thank you so much.

@@chuckthebrindlepittie6820 Pretty isn't just about how you look. You can be physically attractive and still be ugly. So when I say "pretty", I don't just mean her face. I don't have to think it over. I enjoy her channel.
I'm an ice skater and the following is a variation of how we get up off the ice, to help us get up off the floor without anything to lean on. Get on your hands and knees and then pull one knee up (let's say left for example) with that foot flat on the floor. Then use your left hand on that leg just above the knee, the right hand on the floor, the right foot toes curled under a bit to help you push off and up with all three. Keep that left hand on the left leg, when you get high enough, pivot the right foot so you can place the right hand on the right leg just above the knee. Slowly walk the hands up, keeping the knees bent and slowly roll up into a standing position. It's something to practice regularly to keep your legs strong.
That’s how ived learned how to get myself up when I fall if I’m not hurt. I pulled my Achilles tendon once trying to get up. It slowly got well. I try to avoid hitting my head when I fall. I have strong bones, apparently. 😅
I love, love,love the idea of makeover Mondays! The part that really got me excited was, I’ll call it, “graceful aging”. I don’t want to stop living life, but I need to do things differently, and gracefully, like getting up from the floor. My husband and I call our new normal. I find the more “plans” I have in place, the more I enjoy doing things, and people enjoy me being there. What I don’t like is my tendency to not put on makeup, etc unless I’m heading out for something specific. I don’t want lazy to be a way of life… so, long thoughts short, looking forward to all the tips you’re going to share!!!

I think something special on Mondays would be great. I just turned 80 in January and I can’t get over the changes in my body and my thoughts on my own aging. I would love to hear what you and other women are feeling about this stage in our lives. I have been really giving a lot of thought to how I want to spend my next stage in life. Advice on "beauty and style?" Get ready for a rough ride. Patty is seeing through some of that now. Not slamming you though. At your age, I was kicking ass professionally, a pretty triathlete. (I am using my husband's UA-cam account, now, for security reasons). Hold onto your hat. Men may remain naive, eternally, but women -- no denial or BS.

I am aware of physical issues with aging. Your voice is so important because many aging women are not aware of the subtle continual decline in strength, flexibility and balance. Vital information.
Makeover Mondays sound great! Just want to say that I enjoy watching you and hearing about your life, even the simplest videos are fun to watch. I love your sparkly bright blue eyes, and you always inspire me to continue to try to be my best self. I’m 74, a retired educator, and one of my little students once made me a birthday card that said, “Mrs. Jones, you may be old, but you’re still cute!” So that’s going to be my mantra for the remainder of my life!😂❤

May God comfort all of you. Covid took 5 of my family members, and that was Grevious. I had it in Dec of 2021-March of 2022. It hit me hard because of my other health issues, and that first round of it left a lot of folks with issues. Again, very thankful you are ok, and… that you will be leaving Arkansas!!!😂Man!! Memories, those comfort me. A neighbor once said if he had a fire, he'd save the photo album. I told him I didn't need to as everyone came to me in my dreams. And the memories come while awake. These weren't just relatives; they were my friends. I don't have to miss them, they are always with me, awake or asleep. But I practice Buddhism. It teaches you to accept what you can't change and make the most of what you do have. And practice makes perfect, at least as perfect as we humans can get which is at the very least peace within the now moment.
Sweet Patti, I had to laugh when you talked about “herding cats.” Truer words were never spoken when trying to corral toddlers! How wonderful for those sweet babies to get to spend time with you, and what a blessing you have been for their mommas. It sounds like your daughter-in-law had a father who left a legacy of community and commitment. I love watching makeup videos, nothing complicated quick and easy. The idea of exercising is great! Types of care that may be helpful and contribute to better health, I go to a chiropractor weekly. He does a gentle adjustment that works well for me. Certain supplements that you and others have found helpful. I'm talking a hot drink of bone broth collagen that I can't believe how it has helped me. Healthy food items to incorporate into your life. Thanks for being there for us. I am almost 74 and do yoga every day, so I don't have a problem, but i know many that do, and I will probably be there one day, too! I never take my health for granted.
Makeover Mondays. Yes..Yes..and YES!!! I’ll be 62 this July 26th. But my physical health is poor. Stairs, uneven ground, and that dreaded getting up off the floor are things I never like. I love just listening to your voice as it is so soothing. I would really like to know how to get up off the floor without a chair near by or a counter to grab on to. That said I am truly sorry for the sorrow you must all feel at the loss of someone you loved. It’s never an easy thing. I trust that over time you will feel a healing of heart and spirit. I'm so glad you were able to help out your daughter and DIL during their time of need. Losing a parent is so difficult. And having young children does prevent them from being totally present. You are such a gem. So about ideas, I like the various looks for various events. I love that idea. There's another channel that does that box thing and me personally, I don't care for it. But that's just me. I do like the idea of Makeover Mondays but with different products not the same ones! Love you and your channel even though I usually just watch, not comment.

I’d love to see the exercise to get down on the floor and back up. I have Rheumatoid Arthritis so if I’m having a flare in parts of my body movement can be very difficult. That being said the exercise may not work during those times, but who knows. You travel a lot, maybe ideas regarding packing, what clothes you take or how to decide the size of suitcase to buy. I bought a nice suitcase when I packed it I couldn’t lift it! Needless to say that suitcase will be given away. Have a blessed week Patti. 🌟💖🌟

Just an FYI if you watch UA-cam videos on an iPad like I do you cannot see the community page. It is not available to iPad users. Now if I go to my iPhone I can see the community page, however, it’s very rare that I watch UA-cam on my phone. My sister turned 70 in Feb. this year ( I'll be 67 in may ) and she cried for week because she felt all those past years she didn't have because of a busy life the years rushed by unnoticed ( and I also feel that ) so I suggested when we have a catch up to reminisce about our fun days as teenagers , the discos , great music , boyfriends and what clothes we wore ( we would go out together ) and it's a reminder there was a fun life before getting busy with work , husband, kids , looking after ageing parents and so on ,
it helps you to keep things into perspective and enjoy those carefree days 😊

It's true that some of us who are younger than 65 (barely😜) are concerned about getting older but I just want you to know that I watch because you inspire me. I'm an ice skater and the following is a variation of how we get up off the ice, to help us get up off the floor without anything to lean on. Get on your hands and knees and then pull one knee up (let's say left for example) with that foot flat on the floor. Then use your left hand on that leg just above the knee, the right hand on the floor, the right foot toes curled under a bit to help you push off and up with all three. Keep that left hand on the left leg, when you get high enough, pivot the right foot so you can place the right hand on the right leg just above the knee. Slowly walk the hands up, keeping the knees bent and slowly roll up into a standing position. It's something to practice regularly to keep your legs strong.
That’s how ived learned how to get myself up when I fall if I’m not hurt. I pulled my Achilles tendon once trying to get up. It slowly got well. I try to avoid hitting my head when I fall. I have strong bones, apparently. 😅
I love, love,love the idea of makeover Mondays! The part that really got me excited was, I’ll call it, “graceful aging”. I don’t want to stop living life, but I need to do things differently, and gracefully, like getting up from the floor. My husband and I call our new normal. I find the more “plans” I have in place, the more I enjoy doing things, and people enjoy me being there. What I don’t like is my tendency to not put on makeup, etc unless I’m heading out for something specific. I don’t want lazy to be a way of life… so, long thoughts short, looking forward to all the tips you’re going to share!!!

I think something special on Mondays would be great. I just turned 80 in January and I can’t get over the changes in my body and my thoughts on my own aging. I would love to hear what you and other women are feeling about this stage in our lives. I have been really giving a lot of thought to how I want to spend my next stage in life. I am aware of physical issues with aging. Your voice is so important because many aging women are not aware of the subtle continual decline in strength, flexibility and balance. Vital information.

It hit me hard because of my other health issues, and that first round of it left a lot of folks with issues. Again, very thankful you are ok, and… that you will be leaving Arkansas!!!😂Man!! Memories, those comfort me. A neighbor once said if he had a fire, he'd save the photo album. I told him I didn't need to as everyone came to me in my dreams. And the memories come while awake. These weren't just relatives; they were my friends. I don't have to miss them, they are always with me, awake or asleep. But I practice Buddhism. It teaches you to accept what you can't change and make the most of what you do have. And practice makes perfect, at least as perfect as we humans can get which is at the very least peace within the now moment.
Sweet Patti, I had to laugh when you talked about “herding cats.” Truer words were never spoken when trying to corral toddlers! How wonderful for those sweet babies to get to spend time with you, and what a blessing you have been for their mommas. It sounds like your daughter-in-law had a father who left a legacy of community and commitment. Makeover Mondays. Yes..Yes..and YES!!! I’ll be 62 this July 26th. But my physical health is poor. Stairs, uneven ground, and that dreaded getting up off the floor are things I never like. I love just listening to your voice as it is so soothing. I would really like to know how to get up off the floor without a chair near by or a counter to grab on to. That said I am truly sorry for the sorrow you must all feel at the loss of someone you loved. It’s never an easy thing. I trust that over time you will feel a healing of heart and spirit. I'm so glad you were able to help out your daughter and DIL during their time of need. Losing a parent is so difficult. And having young children does prevent them from being totally present. You are such a gem. So about ideas, I like the various looks for various events. I love that idea. There's another channel that does that box thing and me personally, I don't care for it. I am 75 and felling it, in June I am having knee replacement so anything to help stay flexible I would love. You are a dear lady and I do mean lady. I enjoy your channel and your honesty. I've only had one,not ruling out maybe having more before I get too old,we'll see. I do think it's wonderful to have them! I love babies!! I’d love to see the exercise to get down on the floor and back up. I have Rheumatoid Arthritis so if I’m having a flare in parts of my body movement can be very difficult. That being said the exercise may not work during those times, but who knows.
You travel a lot, maybe ideas regarding packing, what clothes you take or how to decide the size of suitcase to buy. I bought a nice suitcase when I packed it I couldn’t lift it! Needless to say that suitcase will be given away. Have a blessed week Patti. 🌟💖🌟
I love your Make-over Monday idea. I'm looking forward to seeing what you come up with. I'm especially interested in practicing how to get up without using hands, as I've noticed lately I have a hard time getting up and down even when using my hands.
