I'm glad I found your video. The candies are so cute. Love these DIYs projects because they're so fun to make. Will definitely use your idea to make the candy props for my daughter's 2nd "two sweet" birthday theme. Thanks for sharing! 🥰 🍭
Great ideas ! I make wreaths and mailbox swags etc, and I have been looking for ways to make my own swag decorations for Christmas, and everything else I've seen, they were too big or way too small. I love the products you used , it looks great and are the perfect size !
@@Geeklightful yes. Spray paint is easy and quick! Walmart, Home Depot, Menards, etc sell 2x Rustoleum. It has the primer mixed in with paint, so it covers on 1st spray! I am a crafter and sell items. So if I do bulk items, I need to save time. I also spray paint green garland if I want a different color like white or red garland to decorate. Candy theme is popular for Christmas 2019! So I bought a can of Purple and Berry and Seafoam like Blue, and more. I will be doing a candy garland and door swags and door decorations this year 😃👍
Yep, I hate painting. 2x Spray paint is the only way to go! Fast and you can make more quickly! Especially when selling them at craft fair or making gifts.
These decorations are sooo cute, Mymi; They look super realistic too!!! I think you could add some round chocolates and some round gummies to your banner! 😊🍬🍭 -Jenny
💙The paint is just regular acrylic paint! 💗The glaze to make it shiny (the clear coat) is either Wood Varnish or Mod Podge! I use wood glue, it works for me ☺ 💛The thing she puts on before the paint is Gesso Acrylic (or Primer Paint) but you can just use regular white acrylic paint also! ☺ You don't have to use it.
