  • "Today, we have the AirPods Pro headphones that have been acting up for a while. Recently, there has been a crackling sound coming from the right earphone, especially when using the noise-canceling feature.
By readjusting the earphone in the ear and changing its position, I've been able to use the headphones. However, the crackling has become so bothersome lately that I had to stop using the headphones altogether. Even turning off the noise cancellation didn't help.
I've been searching for a solution on Google and UA-cam. The only practical advice I found is to clean the headphones. Dirt on the headphones and sensors can cause disruptions. It's especially important to clean the microphones on the outer surface to ensure smooth feedback.
I use cotton swabs and toothpicks for cleaning. Cotton doesn't damage the surface, and a toothpick is gentle and won't scratch easily. With a toothpick, I can easily clean all the small crevices. I wrap cotton around the end of a toothpick to create a precise tool for cleaning small gaps.
For cleaning, I use ethanol, a universal cleaner. I always have plenty of it in stock. However, caution is needed because it's not suitable for all surfaces. Almost all plastics tolerate it well, but painted surfaces may suffer. Also, markings on the plastic surface may come off. Ethanol is much gentler than many other substances, such as acetone.
Cleaning didn't help; the crackling persisted. Apparently, the feedback mechanism in the headphones is faulty. I try to mute the feedback by covering the microphones with tape. The noise-canceling function works by capturing external background noise with microphones. The signal from the background noise is amplified and added to the headphone signal in opposite phase, effectively reducing the background noise.
Taping helped. The crackling stopped, but I can no longer use the noise-canceling feature. These will serve as a temporary solution, and I plan to buy new AirPods.
Despite everything, headphones with all the functions are much better, and I need the noise-canceling feature. I marked these with a blue marker to avoid confusing them with the new ones.
Nevertheless, the situation is resolved to the extent possible!
    Thank you for watching!"

0:50 i was dying inside hearing the noise toothpick made. Btw, if anyone has the same problem, try to blow on the inside and outside black parts, that might help as well

Hello, my brother, my headphone is Oraimo Rheem, and recently there was a weakness in the sound, and I discovered that I have to press on it for it to work, and when I remove my hand, the sound decreases again. This happened after removing the sticker that is placed on the headphone, which often muffles the sound. Is there a solution?

I'm not familiar with Oraimo buds. Try to get visual sign on any damage, loose joint/crack in case at the place of sticker. Did you take the cover sticker from noise cancelling mic? Try to restore situation by placing similar sticker. Earbuds are small and repairing them is almost impossible. I you have budget buds, it is better buy a new pair.

    Всем привет!
Мне помогло: смачиваем палочку в удалителе жира, капля на каждое отверстие, через минуту продуваем сжатым воздухом из баллона. Протираем.
    Hello everyone!
It helped me: we moisten the stick in the fat remover, a drop on each hole, after a minute we blow compressed air from the cylinder. We wipe it.

I ended up buying new pods, then learned about a recall. I got new AirPods from Apple (pods only, not the case), this recall is probably still active. Google :"Airpods pro program for sound issues".

@@SnapTinker Yes, I knew about the recall service, and I also know that it's for three years from the initial retail date. The recall program itself continues, but most users postpone it because they think it's going to cost them after three years or even if it's in trouble, and then they know the news of the recall belatedly after three years. In my case, I knew it was an AirPods subject to recall because it was created at the time of four years, but I couldn't get the service because it was normal during the recall period. I can buy a new one, but I repaired it myself because it's pretty cheap and easy for me, to fix it myself.
