Looks like you had a great trip. Waking up in the morning to that sunset and fog on the river was absolutely beautiful. Oh and I almost forgot to mention the fishing. It’s obvious why you didn’t mind if you had to spend another night. I liked and subscribed. Thanks for sharing. 👍
Thanks so much for liking and subscribing! The Delaware Water Gap is such a beautiful area! I definitely want to do another float trip. Thanks again for watching! 🙏
This was awesome! I have always wanted to do a canoe camping trip. I liked all the underwater shots and the timelapses were great. That water looked really clear. That was pretty crazy to see a squirrel crossing the river too. So I an assuming you have to get a permit to camp at the river sites and then it is first come first serve?
Thanks again Walter for watching the video! Yeah, I thought that squirrel was an otter or something…lol Yes, you do need to get permits and the parking lots were $10 a day. Little pricey for camping but totally worth it. They do a good job keeping the park clean. The water was so clean and clear! Thanks again Walter!
Thanks for watching the video and leaving a comment! So, you can reserve 1 of 5 camping “zones” on the National Park Service website for the Delaware Water Gap. Then you choose what campsite you want within that “zone” while on the river. Good luck and have fun!
Thanks so much for checking out the video! We put in at Milford beach, camped at two different places and got off the river at Bushkill. We originally planned on spending another night on the river and ending our trip at Smithfield Beach, but decided to end the trip a day early. Perhaps we will do Bushkill to Smithfield Beach on an overnight trip in the future….🤔
Best of luck on your river trip. Of the 3 sites I seen on my trip, only 1 was large enough for 10 tents 🏕️ I would do some research and even call the park and talk to a ranger.

We didn’t paddle very far each day. We wanted to take it easy and enjoy the river.
I am planning a trip for 10 on that stretch. Do the sites fit about ten tents?

An axe and bare feet can lead to issues...
Ha ha, yup, don't want to chop off any toes...lol That would ruin a trip for sure.
