It's the Plumbershop Quartet, featuring Mario, Luigi, Wario, and Waluigi in four-part harmony! Dedicated to the fella who was crucial in shaping their respective personalities for so long. Hope you enjoy!
I think I can count on one hand the number of times I’ve seen Matthew Taranto draw Waluigi normally
UR NOT WRONG
1:09 Normal too?
If I had a nickel for every time he drew Waluigi normally, I’d have two nickels. Which isn’t a lot, but it’s weird that it happened twice.
And, very appropriately, it would look like a rude gesture.
Oh he'll be back.
I know it's sad he is retiring, but at least he gets to relax a (hopefully long) bit of time.
Godspeed Charles.
Man's now getting paid to go to conventions and meet fans for a living!
I think he'll be quite happy now!
@@kcwacw1I like the interpretation that the "ambassador" role is also partially to NOT read out shitposts in Mario's voice on cameo lol
Perhaps so, but ya never know, besides i'm sure he'd be fine for a Parthanuxx line instead@@metallsnubben

“Have a rotten day!” As a diehard Wario fan, I deeply appreciate the respect you’ve shown us this day.
WARIO PLATFORMER: ACKNOWLEDGED!!!
I love how clearly you can see fanboy heaven in Matthew’s face in the ending photograph!
Find yourself a husband who looks at you like my husband looks at Charles Martinet ❤️😂
As someone who knows just enough about barbershop to be dangerous, I am surprised (but deeply appreciate) that Luigi is Lead and not Mario. Also Wario’s “princess” being Waluigi made me actually laugh out loud. ❤
as bizzare as it is to see waluigi drawn in this style normally for once, this was such a wonderful tribute
Mario at 1:31 having to hidde a tear it's a master touch, so good as always BITF.
Man, I really regret not getting my photo with Charles when I met him... He was such a nice and cheerful guy.
I mean, he’ll still be going to conventions! That’s what his job with Nintendo is now!
@@waluigitheplumber5355 That's true. Haha I was able to see him before because I used to live near a major city in the U.S. where he came to Comic Con. Let's hope he comes to Japan now though~
This was a genuinely beautiful song. For some reason, I really loved how the SMB Overworld was briefly implemented in that one part. Everything just fits all together so well.
Beautiful work. Here's hoping Charles's work as ambassador to the Mushroom Kingdom goes well.
(What? Well, what's the position _actually_ entail?)
From what I can tell, kinda just what he’s already been doing for so long, traveling around the globe and being a positive presence at conventions and the like.
I imagine what it entails is "Charles is getting too old but we don't want to just cut him loose". And y'know what, good for Charles.
This is one of the two best “quartet” song by one person to honor Charles Martinet. (The other is from Juno Songs)
Jesus Christ, I accidentally read that as "a Charles Martinet tribute" and immediately googled if he was still alive.
Don’t worry, he’s alive, he’s merely gonna be going around as Nintendo’s super Mario ambassador.
Definitely cracked up a bit when it showed who Wario's "princess" was.
This is perfect! I love the crying Mario at the end.
And kinda off topic but the soft drumming in the credits reminded me of the preparation theme of Mushroom Mayhem from Mario vs. Donkey Kong. Most probably a coincidence than anything but it sounded neat.
This is one of my favorite Charles Martinet tributes I've seen... and now one of my favorite original Mario fan songs now. 😊
Absolutely glorious. Love how everyone decided to get along and perform just a glorious song and dance.
Wonderful memories reading Brawl in the Family back in the day. Great to see Taranto still doing stuff. This is a wonderful tribute to the great Martinet.
I'm not in the Mario fanbase so I couldn't quite remember the specifics of the news surrounding Martinet and this song was so sincere and heartfelt I was under the impression he'd died the entire way through until I read the comments. 10/10
Strange to see waluigi without his witf self
Yeah I went back and forth on this for a while before deciding that given the nature of the song, it'd be best to have him be more cohesive/consistent this time around. Nearly everything I make that includes Waluigi is ALL about Waluigi but this time he had to suck it up and be a team player (sort of). I'm sure his handsome Final Form will be back and causing trouble in no time though.
@@BitFinityGames On-model Waluigi was definitely the better choice for this particular video, I would say.
@@BitFinityGames after all this is a tribute video so it makes sense the wah boi is his normal self here. I think he has the ability to interchange between forms at will, like in the 2014 april fools comic
@@idkany293 I did happen to catch him making his BitF face at around 1:26, so you might be right on the money there about Waluigi being a shapeshifter.
😢 the voice of so many childhoods
Its so touching how Mario wipes a tear from his eye at the end there. Its all in the little details. :)
Beautiful, what a perfect tribute to a bonafide legend
This is a fantastic send-off to a legendary career. It emphasizes what Charles has done for the gaming community instead of lamenting his retirement from the gig.
I hope this blows up and Charles gets to see this. I think that's how we all feel. The "You numba one! Wahoo!"
I hope Charles Martinette sees this cuz it's fantastic
A beautiful tribute for an all-around talented and wonderful human being. We love you, Charles.
Thank you for the amazing dedication, thank you Charles Martinet for the stellar voices you provided, and a very merry WAHOO!
I think my favorite video of yours is "Waafrica," but it's hard to choose because nearly every song you make is so enjoyable. Thank you for creating such charming content!
I actually teared up a little at this. Fantastic.
The fact this hasn’t exploded in popularity is honestly surprising. This deserves to be seen by way more people, amazing work!
What a beautiful tribute. Thank you Matthew and thank you Charles Martinet
This is amazing work. Thank you for all the great songs, and once again, thank you Charles for all the good times.
Needless to say you've done a good job with this masterpiece and it's the work of a true fan
I remember Brawl in the Family very very fondly. For me it was an honor to be there when waluigi time was still just a niche joke sort of inside joke there. I hope you're doing well Matthew
Luigi being the lead makes me stupid happy, yay for Luigi getting some love! XD
the way you more emphasis on the bass line giving it a more regal feel os amazing
Honestly sounds like the back track to one of the pieces from Mario Paint, which is really fun to me as not a lot of people remember the game too fondly outside of Brentalfloss or maybe a certain demon tomato
Please tell me I’m not the only one who got a little choked up from this.
This is a beautiful way of saying thanks to Charles for all the great work he's done
Couldn't have done it without Wario ''bringing in the rear''
This is...
Great, my favorite song of Bit Musical, every song is great but I like the tone and lyrics of this song
Thank you Charles Martinet and thank you Matthew for the song
This is so Good, Such an amazing Tribute. I love this so much!
This make me smiled. Someone show this to Charles.
Mario Bros 3 curtain was a nice touch
Had to give this some IRL applause. A wonderful acknowledgement of everyone who's had a hand in bringing Mario and his friends to life (yes, even Chris Pratt), while sticking to the truth of the real Numba One. Wahoo, indeed.
This needs so much more views
This was wonderful. I hope he sees it.
I met him at a convention last month. He was so kind. My friend usually doesn't get meeting voice actors at cons but with Charles it was different...he's Mario, Luigi, Wario, Waluigi, you know whether you think you do or not. He is a celebrity I'm glad I met before it was too late. He wad amazing.
They became friends for this quartet
Aww, that was really nice and really well made
I really hope Charles gets to see this. For a man most of us never met, he brought a lot of light into so many lives.
Definitely one of my favorite tributes to the man that has voiced these four for so long, that's for certain.
Also, it's weird seeing Matthew Taranto draw Waluigi normally.
Something about this idea is so refreshing
What a lovely send-off. Great as always!
Just saw your very hungry kirby comic and I love it
It's so healthy to see them together, this could happen more often
BEST "NEW" UA-cam VIDEO IN THE UNIVERSE
that got me a little emotional, nice work my man
That was so perfect. I love that there is a replay button.
Love you, Charles Martinet!
This video is for you.
everyone else here is nerding out over the animation itself (which to be fair so am i) and then you've got me impressed that they actually managed to lock and ring a little bit on that final chord
it is never too late for a charles martinet tribute, really, and this one was just amazing :'))
absolutly brillient
Bravo! This was a fun video and I’m a fan of barbershop, so this hit all the right notes! (Pardon the pun.)
Plus it was good seeing Luigi take the lead; he’s my favorite Mario character of all time.
Actually made me tear up, I love it
Thank you Charles
That was really wholesome.
This is absolutely amazing
Your amazing sings always makes me genuinely smile. Thanks for keep on doing new ones!! And thanks to Charles Martinet
Thank you Charles for making fall in love with all 4 of these characters. Waluigi for the memes, Mario for always being the plumber I played in my all time favorite platformers like Galaxy 2, Wario for being my 2nd favoriite with so much likeability and character from him especially in the Warioware when he is supposed to have unlikeable traits like greediness and just farting, but he really brought out Wario's best, and finally making me always be a fan of Luigi and choosing Luigi is almost every game I play in.
As much as I'm a big fan of the End of Day song and One Note Song, this just hold so much more power and is easily the best one Matthew made.
This was beautiful and I just can't Express my heartfelt thoughts on this great tribute.
Wario looks like he's balding when he takes off his hat at 0:38 and for some reason that feels very in-character LOL
This is awesome. Made me cry 🥺
I'm actually tearing up❤
Beatiful
What a beautiful tribute
I couldn't stop smiling though the whole thing. A great and heartfelt tribute!
This is Really Hecking Good. And though its not the point of the video, I am quite pleased that Luigi got to be the lead of this.
BARBERSHOP MENTIONED 💈💈💈
This is really neat, I absolutely love it!😊💖
Beautiful song thank you Matthew and thank you Charles Martinet
Beautiful tribute
Insanely catchy and a sweet sentiment! You're such a good singer!
Every so often something so wholesome and charming makes its way into my feed and I feel good for the next few minutes. I love this! 😁👍
Love the dedication and smart work you put it this masterpiece 💪❤️ keep going 🎉😊
That was superbly done.
This was amazing! Great job!
awesome dedication and incredible music!
Beautiful
Simply love it.
Please I beg of you, you are the choose one. You are the only one who could perfectly make a full version of "a thousand miles" that ProZD started years ago. Pleaseeee I beg of you
I love it, compinche!
"don't cry because it's over, just smile because it happened"
- Dr seuss -
THIS IS SO AWESOME
Amazing stuff.
I actually started tearing up after hearing this
He always will be their voices to me. Nothing against Kevin or Charlie or Chris or anyone else, but Charles is Mario, Luigi, Wario, and Waluigi, and is irreplaceable in my mind.
I love this! 😄
Now this is beautiful
That was beautiful.
The "the memories we shared" part showing Mario's head from Mario 64 (alongside the other references) made me feel quite nostalgic. Thank you for making this.
