This is probably my favorite "comic" from Brawl in the Family, and it makes me so sad going back and listening to this realizing that BiTF is finished and we will never get a webcomic like this ever again.
It's based on all of our favorite characters and maintains very clean yet funny humor which is very hard to come by these days.
Goodbye BiTF. Nothing will ever replace you in my heart.
Not to mention the genuinely heartwarming moments and character development.
Could not agree with all of this any more, loved this comic. Now Brawl in The Family really will forever be part of the history of Nintendo to me.

(I still loved the Wii U dearly despite that. As André from GameXplain said in closing in their discussion of that sales report; "Desperate Nintendo is best Nintenedo." And during those years, it indeed was. :D)

Eh I actually feel like the Wii U era was the worst era for Nintendo. All of those games from that era that haven’t been ported already are forgettable at best, and laughably bad at worst. Even the handhold games were either hit or miss. Remember Chibi Robo Zip Lash or Codename Steam?

@@alphayell4598 I think their ashamed that they like the popular thing. Personally I love nintendo for its game desgine of fun first. Even when I hate a nintendo game I can always appreciate most of the parts of it.
I want to weigh in on this with my personal impressions of Nintendo during a lot of the Switch's era. I do hard agree with a lot of switch era titles have been amazing, hell Metroid even has made a comeback. That said Nintendo has also been the focus of a lot of stupid shit at the same time lately. For instance you used to always be able to count on Nintendo's hardware being high quality, they even came up with a term for it due to how unanimously high quality it was, Nintendium. Now? Joy Con drift crap left and right, I've had plenty of friends and myself as well go through multiple pairs, all the while they're selling these lower quality durability controllers at higher prices than any previous sturdier ones.
Nintendo has decided to opt to have you start paying for their online services on the Switch, their online elements being free was something that was an advantage over their console competitors for so long. I personally don't think this one is even a majority Nintendo problem but I can see some folk citing the sharp decline Pokemon has been on since Switch Era. Probably has something more or less to do with Pokemon Company and Game Freak themselves, but thats a whole other rabbit hole. The limited availability games like Mario 3D all stars and that Fire Emblem title was a whole issue itself as well.
TL;DR
I think the quality of an overwhelming majority of Nintendo's games during the Switch's era has been PHENOMENAL. It's just that their more company/policy centric decisions have been awful.
Stop listening to rage bait / nostalgia bait UA-camrs. Nintendo are the same that they've always been. For better and for worse.

I read every comic on that website. When it ended, I was on the verge of tears as I finished off my adventure with this song. It used to just be a "pretty cool" thing, until I read the comic. Then, when he started naming off the different games and ended with "Brawl in the Family", it became so much more emotional. A final farewell. :)
