The writing for the story is remarkable!! And the fight scenes are so well done for a fan animation!! I'm SUPER excited to see how Mecha sonic and Shadow merge back into the Mario saving Peach plot! Alvin Earthworm would be proud, you should be too ❤❤❤
Even for a fan-made episode 9 done more than a decade after the last official one, I admit this is one of the best examples of attempting to make an episode look accurate enough to look close to an official one while respecting the style and source material of the series. Kudos my guy.

Wow, man. This is very impressive! I really hope you continue this. I remember reading somewhere that Season 1 of Super Mario Bros. Z was intended to have 15 episodes and Mecha Sonic will eventually acquire all the Chaos Emeralds and become the SMBZ equivalent of Perfect Cell. Then, as Perfect Mecha Sonic, he was meant to host a fighting tournament like Cell does in DBZ, and Sonic and Shadow decide to stay in the Mushroom Kingdom at the end of Season 1. With practice, your skills in custom sprite making and animation will improve, and it will start to feel even more like the OG episodes made by Alvin. I applaud your dedication. He is not an easy person to live up to, but in my opinion, you absolutely did. Season 2 was reported to feature Master Smithy as the main antagonist.
This is extremely faithful to the original series. I can yell you're a true fan and very passionate about sprite animation as a whole. As much as it would be cool to see your take on this series I know you have the potential to make your own original one.

You really managed to capture the essence of SMBZ from that time! 🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩 I love the part where you showed where Eggman could have gone when he saw Sonic arriving on the Omega Doomship in episode 8 and what he was going to do!!!! I love the way you managed to characterize Shadow's power in this animation, showing that he is so powerful that not even Mecha Sonic could beat him, in addition to showing where the chaos emerald was located and even giving the which is why Shadow lost the battle to Mecha. Furthermore, I also loved the fact that Basilisx took advantage of his powers to try to do to Mario what he did to Basilisx's best friend, but without success. You also showed that Luigi can be independent in this episode, something sensational and respectful of the character. And now, we will have the fight of the Super Mario Z Warriors (we can call them that) against the Koopalings, while Mario goes after Princess Peach, and in the next episode: Mario Clash, we will see Mario's fight against Mecha Mario!!!! I can't wait to see the next episode and Mario's fight against Mecha Mario and what will happen when they discover Eggman's presence in Mario's world and how he managed to survive after Mecha Sonic's attack!!!!! Damn... That was pretty damn good. My only issue is that a few times the music didn't quite fit, particularly the early part of the fight and the grammar is all over the place... But everything else is really solid!
This is definitely the closest ive ever seen of someone trying to successfully recreate that classic Alvin Earthworm animation style. Usually other animators try way too hard on making the animation as fluid as possible thus making it obvious that it's a fan animation; whereas this could easily pass off as a work of Alvin Earthworm's. I'm really impressed, you should be proud of your efforts! I also really enjoyed the references to the Meta Cooler vs Goku fight from DBZ movie 6 during the Shadow vs Mecha Sonic battle. Your choreography was very refreshing, I think you came up with some very unique combos.

First of all thank you, I really mean it, I remember waiting quite a long time for that blessed chapter 9, which years later I would know the outcome it had, thanks to the channel "La Madriguera del Doc" and its analysis of the series, and well seeing how it could have been thanks to your video undoubtedly allows me to close what my past self was waiting for for quite some time, speaking of the chapter, well you handled it quite well, the spirit of the original series is felt and the treatment that the characters received and the outcome of the events was quite good, without a doubt Luigi takes the cake and I thought the decision that he would be the one to defeat Basilisk was right, and the part of the mecha vs Shadow confrontation was well carried out, and well let's not even talk about Dr. Eggman's classic movements and the appearance of Mecha Mario which for me was a surprise, but anyway, having said all this, thanks friend and I wish you luck with possible future projects.

As much as I appreciate how accurate this is to the original style. The grammar errors could’ve been easily fixed if you’d just put the dialogue into any free grammar checker tool online to make this even more accurate to the original. Well, I appreciate the algorythm to send this my way in the recommended section. This was not half bad. Not as detailed as Mark's work, for sure, but it was best I've seen so far from the continuation of the original SMBZ series, so that's saying at least something. With that said, I remember when I was waiting for Episode 9 for a whole year, only to be greeted with utter disappointment that was a 3 minute clip just to clear up the "cliffhanger". I always wanted to see Mecha Mario in action and see how this story truly ends. One thing is certain, the original creator behind these series; Mark Haynes... will NEVER finish this series. I hope to see an Episode 10 perhaps from you. It would be nice to close a loop at long last for these series in one way or another. As much as I appreciate how accurate this is to the original style.
The grammar errors could’ve been easily fixed if you’d just put the dialogue into any free grammar checker tool online to make this even more accurate to the original.
I even put the text of this comment into a grammar tool because English isn't my first language, too.

This was not half bad. Not as detailed as Mark's work, for sure, but it was best I've seen so far from the continuation of the original SMBZ series, so that's saying at least something.
With that said, I remember when I was waiting for Episode 9 for a whole year, only to be greeted with utter disappointment that was a 3 minute clip just to clear up the "cliffhanger".
I always wanted to see Mecha Mario in action and see how this story truly ends. One thing is certain, the original creator behind these series; Mark Haynes... will NEVER finish this series.
I hope to see an Episode 10 perhaps from you. It would be nice to close a loop at long last for these series in one way or another.
