- A quick video tutorial on how to find the keypad door code for 2018 - 2024 Ford Expedition. This video will show you retrieve the factory code for the keypad that is located on the outside of the Expedition driver's door.
The Ford Expedition owners manual contains the following information on the keypad door code:
SECURICODE™ KEYLESS ENTRY KEYPAD
The keypad is near the driver window. It illuminates when touched. Note: If you enter your door entry code too fast on the keypad, the unlock function may not work. Enter your keypad entry code again more slowly.
You can use the keypad to do the following:
• Lock or unlock the doors.
• Recall memory seat and mirror positions.
• Program and erase user codes.
• Arm and disarm the anti-theft alarm.
You can operate the keypad with the factory-set five-digit entry code. The code is on the owner’s wallet card in the glove box and is available from an authorized dealer. You can also program up to five of your own five-digit personal entry codes.

Great video, the trick to getting this to work is to turn it on with the first key in, wait exactly 4 seconds or the first 4 dings, then immediately turn off and quickly change keys and immediately press the on button again. It it isn’t that exact sequence it won’t work. I did it on my 2022 Expedition but it took a lot of trys to get it to work

This was amazingly easy, and it worked. Ford wanted over $200, and a local lock said he couldn't pull it after connecting to the OBD.

Worked great on 2022 Expedition. Had to press OK several times to remove the notifications before I could see it. The seatbelt notification along with the brake notification has to be dismissed when putting in the 2nd key.

It didn’t work on my newly acquired 2021 Ford Expedition
I have a 2019 Limited. This process failed to display the kepcode. I did everything according to your video. Everything looked the same as your video except in the end, no key code was displayed
We tried multiple times also and it didn't work. Watched the video again and realized we were doing it too slow. We did it a little quicker like the video did and it worked on the first try.
Exactly or very close to exactly 4 seconds on the first key is the trick.

Same…kinda. Turn the ignition on with the first key for four seconds remove it replace with the second key the code will then be displayed.
What if you don’t have a second key
I'm not sure exactly where its located on these years of expedition but the code is also usually located on a sticker under some of the interior trim

I ended up getting some sort of message
2018 focus titanium. There is a key icon at the bottom of the center console. It is in the shape of the key fob. I see no way to lift the key fob pad to reveal a slot, and tried laying the keys flat on the pad with no success. Please help, if you can.
