Estimado Tommy, hace mucho sigo tu música y estilo. En mi humilde opinión, sos el mejor guitarrista que he escuchado. Ojalá pueda presenciar un show en vivo algún día. Si alguna vez andás por Buenos Aires...., estaré sin duda en primera fila. Abrazo grande y seguiré admirando tu inigualable talento.
Oh man, thanks for the breakdown on how to learn this style of picking. I'm a big blaze foley fan but can only Travis pick at the moment. I'm going to start practicing this and hopefully sound as awesome as you do one day. Thanks again!
Tommy's steps and instruction for learning "Boom Chick" ecapsulate the very essence of learning this style and are invaluable. I actually reiterated these steps getting better and over the years again and again. Also, i think Tommy's way of playing with the bare fingers is the way to go. Beware, this needs lot's of painful practicing. Also I first started with Acryl Nails..... but now in these times of the corona virus and the lockdown, i realized how that this makes you terribly dependent.... and went over these steps again playing with bare fingers. It takes some time until the calluses are there..... All that said, Tommy's incredible musicality is not something that you can learn.
Very imspirational Tommy. I've watched your time with Chet and you've really worked hard to this level. I pray for long life for you so we can also learn from you
Cassette player 😅 😂 yes I’m old enough to remember. Still hilarious 🙏 Great video thanks. Ps… saw you in England Exeter January 2024 with Molly. Truly inspiring.
Awesome, I just started getting thumb independence a couple days ago and a thumb pick today. I know now that I will be able to do it in a short time. I can't thank you enough
lmfao the intro, the bass part "once u have practice that for a week" i don't know if people got the joke, even the camera man smiled and Tommy smiled back at them!
Keep at it though! There will be a point where it starts to click! I kept tripping up when i had to add the accent beats... until suddenly it started working. You'll get there!
Priceless lesson from one of the greats!
You are my greatest inspiration when it comes to playing the guitar...
Who the Hell can dislike this? Very good !!
