RIP Keaton. He had one of the absolute best vocals in the post hardcore scene and this track showcases it. Sad he isn't with us anymore, but at least he's with Eiley.
I literally didn't even know what to do 2 days ago when i saw this release... Keaton's legacy and the music him and his band made has impacted me more then any thing I've ever experience. I cant believe this song got released, i thought i had already heard the last of Keaton, such a blessing. Rest In Peace Keaton.
So cool that you did a reaction to this. Kinda hard to get through emotionally because this band helped me through a lot. But amazing to hear that voice again. If this is the last song that’s released from them it’s a beautiful ending
So glad you reacted to this song. I bought it as soon as it was released. Such an amazing song and breaks my heart, but I needed it. Love it so much I can’t explain it. 🖤
Haven't Been Myself has aged like fine wine over the last 7 years. Obviously TCTT wasn't the first to do this sound, but Keaton's voice and the band's writing really took it to a-whole-nother level and it's influence on bands like Dayseeker, Bad Omens, Holding Absence, Rain City Drive and so many others is very prevalent. I selfishly want one last TCTT project, even if it's an EP full of demos, acapellas, and studio recordings - but either way this song is a perfect final chapter for them.
I don't know this band but that was a beautiful track. I loved his vocals and those instrumentals complimented them so well. It's sad I've discovered them when their vocalist is no longer here but I'm sure people who have been fans of this band for a while appreciated this release a lot.

It's mid 2024 and I've been listening to this song over and over...

Amazing track. Too Close To Touch has gotten me through some dark times, one of my all-time fave bands.
