Neil.....gotta respect your honesty on the bolt on cutting edge not being for everyone. Thank you.
You know the saying you can pay me now or later ,Well having a cutter edge is a great way to protect your bucket and your investment, plus any cutting edge I've seen you can flip it over and use the other side to make it last longer,Love the video's
Just bought a new BX2380 today and had a really bad experience with my Kubota dealer. Wish I had a good dealer like Messicks.
This one of my favorite video's of your series ,I can tell you were tickle pink over this design,It's great to see someone enjoy their work like you do.
Love these videos as someone who is still learning this machine, the camera angles and and clear explanations. thank you
I've been researching tractors and have landed on buying a 3901 after the new year. I wish this was available on that series. I also wish you were closer to me I'd definitely be buying from you. I love you're honest approach to making videos. Even when comparing Kubota to other brands you point out the good in those brands. Keep up the good work brother.
If you are not on perfectly level ground, things do not go this smooth when reattaching the loader. I just have loose millings under my lean-to, and put a sheet of plywood down to help keep the loader level. It helped a lot.
I've had my BX2680 for almost 3 weeks, took the loader off once right after delivery, went step by step through the manual...took about 10 minutes. I really don't think I'll be taking the loader off very often, and given I'm still waiting on my mower deck and pallet forks I may never remove the loader ever again if I never get the mower deck.
I've only got about 7.5 hours on my tractor so far, a few projects are on hold till I get the pallet forks and mid mount mower unfortunately....the tractor does great, just waiting on the rest of my implements to show up LOL. Wish your dealership was on the western side of the country LOL. My dealer only has 1 Kubota salesman, and with the huge number of sales this past year, you can imagine how busy he is, plus he's doing all the Kubota deliveries as well, so its a bit of a pain trying to get updates on my implements, hoping they arrive soon, gotta get my tiller, box blade, etc. stored on my shelving so I can put stuff back in my shop where it belongs, got everything scattered all over until my implements can be properly stored on the shelves I have.

Good Video. One important point that was not mentioned here is that the loader needs to be set down on a level surface. In this case, on a level asphalt driveway. I have had some big problems dropping my loader in a side yard that was not perfectly level, and had a hell of a time re-attaching it to the tractor.
A level surface is the key.
Even on a level surface I had issues LOL. Its a smarter design than my brain power allows for LOL. I've actually almost dropped the loader on my BX2680 before when I tried removing & reinstalling the loader...it didn't hook into the j-hooks on the tractor properly, went to lift the loader and it slipped off, just about hit the tractor, luckily wasn't high enough in the air to do so, or worse. I don't think I'll be trying that one again HAHA!!! I haven't tried removing the loader after that incident, scared me enough to not even try, and honestly have no reason to remove the loader as my dealer fell through on my 60" mid mount mower so I have no need to take the loader off.
Neil has done this a time or 2 and made it look extremely easy. I'll try practicing more this year though.
Yes even on perfectly level hard surfaces I can count on one hand the times both couplers snapped shut the first time. That is a sweet sound. KTAC Insurance is a must with this present design.
Love your videos! I wish you guys were closer to me. I've still ordered parts from you. ;) I have to support a well run family business!
Request: there are no good videos on the B2601 out there, despite being around for a few years. I think its a great SCUT (don't think it's quite a CUT yet) for when you feel you need a little more heft than a BX, still want to mow or do a front snow blower, and stay under the tier 4 requirements.
Love it! Reminder to put the plastic caps on!!
Great video - just removed my loader using your instruction - easy peasy! Love it!
That is slick! Didn't think it could get easier than it is now but that is nice.
i found Kubota dealers in the city next to mine here in California. i love your videos
Looks like a great system. I have loader envy.
Hi @Niel Messick, you need to re-do this video, you didn't put the quick coupler in it's stand, and i believe the red button can be pulled out and twisted so it's a 1 hand operation.
What is the price
Is it really worth the quick attach feature if you lose lift strength capacity? Or is that loss not noticeable?
I saw in the kabota specs that the non quick attach loader can lift >110lbs more than the quick attach.
There is a trade off there. For most people the flexibility is more important, but if you would never change out the bucket it is stronger without the QA.
When putting the loader back on - should the Tractor be turned OFF before reattaching the quick coupler? The tractor was turned OFF to disconnect - so was wondering. Thanks!
No need
What can cause the lever to only turn 1/2 way when trying to attached the single lever coupler? I get 1/2 way & it won't go any further even with putting all my strength into it. I may have forgotten to move the bucket lever to release pressure in the lines before disconnecting it. Could that be the problem?
Ok great I just noticed mine is a 340 thanks Neil
If I put wheel spacers on my brand new 1880 will it void the warranty/
When you drop the loader can you attach a snow plow blade to the same tractor and if so is it just as easy as attaching the loader?
You can put a blade on the belly or on the loader. I have videos on those options as well.
Sweet quick release system
Can you do a video on installing the loader leveling kit for LA344 loader? I bought one from you but no instructions on installation.
It's on my list, but will be awhile
Neil very cool video, now can you load and unload front loader with kubota cab installed or must you still have to get off tractor ?
Thanks in advance,
Roger Karstofsky
I am in Florida. I am wanting the L2501 Kubota with the front end loader and a bushhog. What kinda price am I looking at?
Will a video showing the new cab option for the BX be coming soon?
likely not. Its very rare that we sell one.
That's too bad. Your videos are very informative and I've been learning a lot from them. I'm up in Canada and the cab is a big deal for me! If one does come through, be sure to make a video. :)
You make it look so easy
is there a snowblower available for the front of this tractor?
Yes. featured in many other videos I've done.
Awesome video, just looking at the BX2680 with the LA344 loader. You made the loader removal look extremely easy. I think this is a great system for those of us who may want to remove the loader frequently for other tasks that the loader would be in the way due to space restrictions. I believe on the online configurator it is listed as a LA344S loader? Same loader or different than the one you demonstrate in this video?
Same loader, has a skid loader coupler
Man I’m so sold. I have been researching and comparing and back an forth and back an forth. Swift tach is simply amazing. And my dealer quoted price of a 2380 with swift tach ssqa bucket bolt on tooth bar and 60” standard deck I just can’t beat it. Question though is there any reason to step up to the 2680???
I bought the 2680 because I have no need for a backhoe, and eventually would like to get a 48" brush hog, plus the 60" mid mount mower. The bit of extra HP stepping up from the 2380 or 23S is only noticeable with PTO implements....your hydraulics aren't effected by the HP jump even the 1880 has the same lift capacity so no need to get the 2680 if you don't need the extra PTO power, or if you aren't using the PTO at all. I'm not sure that the 23HP or 18HP models would really handle the mid mount mower better if they had more power, probably not, I guess maybe if you were out trying to mow a tall grassy field, but for mowing your lawn, even the 18HP (BX1880) would handle that task just fine. I knew I wanted the roto-tiller, the 60" mid mount mower (dealer fell through on that, so I don't have one....yet, I'll have to get a hold of Messick's I guess and order from them), and I knew eventually I'd get a 48" brush hog, which will be the most demanding for PTO horsepower. I figured I'm going to spend the money and get myself my first tractor, and a sub-compact due to the space limitations and my small property size, I was going to get the largest HP offering and never have to worry about running out of power...I will lose traction before I run out of power honestly, and yep, its true, I spin all 4 tires in loader operation long before the tractor ever thinks of stalling...well, I can stall it if I dig in and moving in high range and burry the forward pedal of course, but that's not exactly the proper loader operating technique anyways LOL.
I love my BX2680...it'll be around most likely long after I'm gone HAHA!!
On my new 2380 as I release the stand and go to detach the front loader the right side lever releases easily, the left side does not release. Any tips?
Roll the bucket while tugging on the lever.
Are they putting this FEL removal system in the b2601 for 2019 models? Or do they already have it on the b model tractors?
For 2019. Yes.
Anyone know if this would fit a bx2670
Neil, what is the difference in the warranties between the two BX loaders? Thanks!
The bx23 is looked at as one unit. 2 yr end to end. The implements on other machines are 1 yr. If you care, an extended warranty on the loader is not expensive.
@@MessicksEquip Thank You! I just ordered a 23s and got worried something might be funky!
Very cool. Is the backhoe that easy too?
Not quite as slick, but it is improved. Video is in the works.
does this bucket fit the smaller bx1880? what are the differences in the 18hp model other than tire size and engine size?
Same loader on the 1880. Only difference is the engine, tire size and seat.
@@MessicksEquip someone said the front axle is smaller in the 18?
@@Jthumper no,that's not correct
Make sure you purchase the KTAC Insurance, financed or cash purchase. I've used it twice now. Loader is impossible to install in the field. Must be on perfectly level ground.
Neil
Take it out in the lawn and try to install it.
I've done it many times. If the ground is soft you need to throw something under the legs so they don't sink.
@@MessicksEquip thanks for your reply. I tried, now in shop under a KTAC claim. But I can't edite my experience. I do enjoy your videos.
Update took unit in for KTAC claim they replaced damaged hood and headlight. They totaled out loader I bought it back and replaced damaged loader frame. With new left side frame, the loader installed on my driveway first time no issues.
I learned never disconnect loader on lawn or uneven surface. My dealer did a really good job and I highly recommend KTAC Insurance.
How much weight can this loader lift?
Complicated. Watch my loader lies videos. All in how you measure
FEL 3rd function still a factory option? if so, where is disconnect?
Dirt Beard it is an option. adds an electronical connection as well
So can you take the loader off if you have pallet forks on?
Yea, you need something on the loader for ballast, forks would be fine.
+45Deere9500 as long as the pallet Forks are heavy enough. On a BX I can't see them being any lighter than the normal bucket
Is the engine quieter than earlier models ?
+ShiftingParadigm about the same
can a mower be used while the backhoe is still attached?
+Brandon Brim yes
great. I bought one of these last week and I removed the standard deck (not drive over) with no problem, but no I'm having trouble getting the mower links to come back down far enough for the pins to snap in place. thanks for the videos great tractor otherwise
PixeLPro thanks I had done that but it was so new that it didn't want to come back down easily. just had to get a little rougher with it.
I will be looking to get one of then new Kubota bx2680
That setup on a b2601 would be great
just came out this year, video is coming out next week,
I want to puke , I bought a brand new BX25D just before the 23S came out , with about 100 new features for about 600.00 bucks more . I kind of feel like Kubota kicked me in the nuts ....
How much $
if you don't have a perfect level spot to take it off you will be in trouble to get it back on verrrry hard I'm talking two or so inches so becareful
I’m in Louisiana
What is the price for it??
What is price of one with trailer and 300 hrs on it
Damn that loader is the cats ass.
Everything I hate about my BX2670, they fixed on the 80
good to know, lots of bx 70 series on craigslist- what are the items you dislike?
Kabote has copied jhon deer and the loader joystick looks so uncomfortable
Scott Spence is this in English?
