Lyrics "The Wolf I Feed":
Sweeping the void -- like sin
Treachery penetrates my skin
Serpent shapes in the depths
Obsolete acts of kindness
The Wolf I feed, in cloaks of decency
The Wolves I feed,
invoke the blessings of peace
Supply lines of the swarm ensuring danger and harm As the first wave diminishes, depleted stronghold vanishing
The wolf I feed, in cloaks of decency
The wolves I feed,
provoke war-waged capacities
The wolf I feed, to ward off wildfires
Blind alleys lead,
violating cease-fire
Domain of the parish
that march in Eden
Corridors of sadness
embrace the Masses
Truths transcend time beyond
the stones of destiny
Celestial landmines
of sacred geometry
The wolf I feed to ward off wildfires
Blind alleys freed,
violating cease-fires
A wake up call,
traverse the wilderness
Death by design with
cosmic significance
Immobilized in its path
Bearing the bulk of the burden
Authoritarian trails between
the colony and Queen
The wolf I feed
Outweighed, policed and rationed
The wolves I feed
Our liberties seized and blackened
Napalm death played this song on getaway. The singer vomited on the stage and said. * Never eat spicy noodles and drink beer and growl in the micophone.. Its not a good combination * The whole crowd bursted out in laughter.
+ihazcookiez1005 I thought Barney was straight edge - what's he doing drinking beer!?
Might have been something else he was drinking. But i guess that the spicy noodles did the trick :)
Could've been non-alcoholic beer. It's still beer and it still can fuck with your digestive system.
that happend
That's to funny
If you were an 80s metal kid then you always remember when you discovered Napalm Death. There was none heavier when they began to really get noticed. They are still kicking in teeth and putting out brutal fucking grindcore. Napalm Death = living legends.
+Napalm Tomahawk That`s so fucking true! xD
The mortal Kombat movie when Goro came out was when I first heard them. I've been hooked for life. I got to see them open for faith no more recently. that was a hell of a show.
+Napalm Tomahawk I belong to that crowd who discovered Napalm Death in their early days at the time they did those LEGENDARY shows headlining with Extreme noise terror ... yes, I agree they are legends but I was always left with the impression that, had there been a compromise at the time ,just before Mick Harris left due to artistic reasons , today´s Napalm Death would probably had turned into something much more interesting . Just my opinion, I love Scorn with "the original Napalm Death" line -up for its incredible debut. The following two Scorn albums culminating with "Evanescence" which is one of the most under rated albums ever were far more interesting to me than the stuff Napam Death were releasing at the time. Just an opinion...
MULTINATIONAL CORPORATIONS GENOCIDE OF THE STARVING NATIONS ... is where it started for me ..
Cirica 1989, when I was in between 8th grade and high school, me and my thrashtard friends were trying to figure out what band was the "HEAVIEST" Exodus... Testament.. Gwar... Slayer... Sodom... we all knew the name Napalm Death bet when we actually got to hear it... Oh shit!
Necessary in the morning. Energy for the whole day.
The breakfast
This song was on my alarm clock. Very good alarm song.
Better than some fecking macha corn flakes.^^
i really appreicate the fact that barney is STILL wearing the exact same infest shirt he was wearing in the WHEN ALL IS SAID AND DONE video recording 6 years before this
that they're so extreme after ALL THIS TIME and still finding ways to be interesting and good is simply impressive. Album after album. woah
It's easy, when you are true
That's why they're the Best
Napalm Death is more than just a band. It's an entity of it's own that happens to manifest it's power through various individuals that have happened into the fold over the decades. ;)
The fathers of grindcore.... like a painting in my ears.
Fucking yes exactly. Art is a resonance. 2 people- you & the *art*
I love the vocals, I am huge fan of Fear Factory and this album of Napalm Death reminds me of Fear Factory's classic Soul of a New Machine!
Same here! I'm a huge fan of both bands, and both bands' new stuff is amazing.
Amazing chorus and FF sound tribute.
Soul of a new Machine is probably the most ambitious album of its time and still amazing
Mitch Harris voice is unbelieveble!
When I was young I grew up listening to a lot of metal bands. One of them was Burzum, until I found out the Views of it's founder and sole member Varg Vikernes. He once gave an interview saying He didn't signed with I can't remeber if it was Earache or another big company because of Napalm Death's pressure. This is one of the reasons I love this band even more.
4 Years ago i was asked to listen to this shit. A great story of true love started with this
Mitch has a very cool 'clean' vocal. Reminds me of Jaz Coleman a bit.
Sounds like old fear factory haha love it
Yeah I actually thought they'd featured their singer or something
@@csgtjureydsvfg both those guys have a similar sound for sure, especially in the 1990s
I know right?? When the clean singing started i thought it was burton singing haha
Probably my favourite song from Utilitarian, glad it's a single
one of the greatest ND songs ever!
@@maidenmovieswhat about greed killing?? Or the Worlds keep turning ??
Or .... opposites repellent??@@maidenmovies
@@MockingbirdTrail great songs too
One of if not my favorite ND album. This song.. …a gift from a whole other realm.
The wolf I feed` Truly a masterpiece from Napalm Death!
I wasn't keeping up with this band for a while, and then I found this video a while ago, not knowing they had even released Utilitarian. I was so afraid they didn't have Barney at the beginning. Then the chorus happened and I shit my pants
nah napalm death wouldnt be napalm death without Barney
This will always be a special song to me. Saw Napalm Death live, best mosh I've been in for a long time, genuinely fantastic performance, real connection between the band and the audience. Fucking brilliant.
Seeing these guys play live years back was amazing! I recommend seeing them in concert \m/
Still kicking ass!!
Fr🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘
Just saw them again. Always awesome. One of the best bands of all time, barr none.
I found these guys last year in Greensboro mall, in FYE (For Your Entertainment, also one of four metal bands there that wasn’t sold out.) when I found there 1994 album “Fear, Emptiness, Despair” and I have loved them ever since, and I’ve been trying to convince my mom to get me one of there shirts, it’s taking a lot to convince her.
the screams in this are so good
Mitch's vocals kill! Beast!
Holy shit..... the first timd I've heard Napalm Death use cleans and instantly I love it \m/
I always pictured cartman growing up to become Shane.
Cartman wishes....lol. Shane is a fucking monster on that bass! No one does it like Shane! Guitar players think they have all the fun? Not true.... lol.
But instead Cartman grew up and became the current president of United States. Have you ever noticed they talk alike?
Mitch is great as guitarrist and now as vocalist.
He have to sing more songs!!!
this band is just as bad ass as ever!!! amazing album!!!
I love how they got heavy with the Bass
"You don't bring me floweeeers
Arrrrgh!"
Yep, Jim was right
Everyone else: Iron Maiden, Black Sabbath and Judas Priest are the best UK metal bands
Me:
MAIDEN is #1, NAPALM is #0
@@maidenmovies hahahahaha. maiden is fluff compared to napalm death.
@@haroldstaam hahhaaaaa… MAIDEN is the biggest and the best band ever, no matter what do you think or how good ND are…
@@maidenmovies no
@@maidenmovies they're good but no
This is what Grindcore is. Not those br00tal deathcore bands
i like deathcore
Me too
Oh, to live at home..
This is also the stuff Punk is made from.
This isn't grindcore... Check out Carcass's album "Reek of Putrefaction" and you'll know what actually grindcore is...
.....saw them live in march this year ... so impressing, so polite (between the songs) ... and then: THERE'S THE GROWLS . Perfect.
Never would have thought psychicpebbles would be featured on a Napalm Death song!
LOL
Mitch Harris needs to be back in the band!
the dudes get really old and still stay true to themselfes.
love them \m/
Glad to see one of the most influential death metal bands still around
Amazing simply amazing!!!
Hails from Peru
Awesome song
Love so fuckin much the guitar riff on the verses .. maybe one of the best in metal history
Rock al parque 2016! The best!
“Watch out for false prophets. They come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ferocious WOLVES". (Mt 7,15)
saw napalm in small club in belfast. the volume alone made my rectum prolapse..... amongst other thing
Limelight?? I was there....brutal night
i can't tell if this is an insult or a compliment, but the description alone deserves a like
You should have seen Sunn O))) when attila csihar still played for them, my friend told me that when he saw them, the whole place was vibrating really hard that people were throwing up, passing out, and shitting themselfs, and peoples bodys were going numb, and hearing attilas vocals while your feeling like shit will make you feel like even more shit
Seen them on Friday 2.8. at Metal Invasion Festival Austria. Amazing! So far, this is Napalm Death!
Yea 30 years and still can't get enough of napalm death
Loud noises make me frustrated amd stressed to the point i start punching myself and pulling out my hair yet this is the song i use to drown everything out
Jim Carrey predicted this lml
First time really listening to NAPALM DEATH and boy are my ears satisfied.
Best!
Harris' clean vocals fit perfectly with this track.
I LOVE THIS ALBUM AND TOUR!!!
Fear Factory sounded like them back in '92. Both are bands I grew up listening to.
... excellent ...
Dudes who where wondered about Mitch clean or scream choruses. They need to go back on the Utopia Banished album..
my best tape bought in usa in 1997 , a fuc...experience ,became my best trash band, happy seen them in paris la locomotive in 2000 !
It's like Burton C. Bell joined them for this track :)
+TheLegendaryGamer I thought the same thing what the fuck is this?
+TheLegendaryGamer ahahahahah, you're talking abot the cleans, right?
Thought exactly the same thing xD
+Francesco Salva Yeah the clean singing, but Fear Factory was influenced by Napalm Death and Godflesh maybe a little Carcass. So that's why they sound pretty similar.
TheLegendaryGamer UHMMM... are you sure?
Fear Factory is one of my favourite bands, I know for sure that Godflesh and Ministry has been big influences on them, but didn't know about Napalm Death and Carcass. Where did you read that?
Anyway okay the influence, but this is about voice.
For fuck sake, Barney clean singing is 95% similar to Burton's as well as Burton's early growls (Soul of a New Machine era) were VERY similar as Barney's past and present ones!
That's awesome :D
right
For anyone wondering, Burton C Bell isn't involved. It's Mitch doing the singing. He does sound like him though.
BEAUTIFUL!!!!!!!
munich backstage two weeks ago. yes rocked
The best band in the world!!!
That drummer with the sneakers xD gotta love it
Hard to believe they're a power-trio + vocalist. SO FUCKING MASSIVE.
The World keeps turning. Napalm Death still here.
Best song!!!
Mitch's backing vocals are fucking sick
Awesome video. Good to see this music still lives.
I didn't know napalm death made songs this long
1:05 sounds like Fear Factory. Awesome
headbanging at work
they almost ancient, but they just keep getting better and better. color me impressed
1:05 Burton from FF??? xD (great bands!)
This is pretty good old-fashioned punkish stuff. Typical death metal heads won't like this, but it's awesome and I'm happy to see ND bring out their punk roots more prominently.
And here we are 2021 wolfed
SUPER
they still got it...
Great hearing Burton Bell in this videoclip
Nice music
What a band.Punk as fuck,no compromise.Constantly moving forward while keeping core beliefs, good stuff.Still killing it.
the second Barney came in i almost moaned , goosebumps went through my spine and i uncontrollably started to headbang , this band man is literally insane , all this beautiful aggression , I can't stop listening to them , someone said before why do other bands even exist what's the point ?
cracking tune
Napalm Death started as they are today, as a grindcore band, this is the way they are good, their death metal period was their weakest
I agree...and the video is great.
awesome
so good
"The Wolf I Feed" This song tells us about " Feed Warwick"
AWESOME VOCALS,AWESOME BAND
Hooraa!!!!! The Clip is on!!
SICK!!
Napalm death is so CULT !!!! love this band
When I first heard napalm back with the original line up than mark barney started no american metal band was as heavy as napalm death
Yes
i got the same feeling!!! gues that`s why i like it even more~
NICE!!!
That beginning is amazing
Me too!
