The production is still relevant 24 years later
Colín Richardson?
@@xgetxysm yes!
@@Cycopace yes, great production for sure
only complaint is the drums are too suppressed need more attack and to be higher in the mix.
why wouldn't it be?
In Russian
One of the most important albums in my life, i really love it
Lol
Same
Napalm Death rules... 2022 new album still brutal as all of them are
me too dude!!
I though same about Scum and others, but now every sound of Them is precious/uniq (some say that is turkish)
I love barney's vocals and that awesome backing vocalist as well.
that's Mitch
@@cdeccles thanks!
LOVE mitchs vocals. My favorite is the version of unchallenged hate from the mass appeal EP. SOOOOO sick
WHEEEEEEEEEEENNNNNNNNN???
There is no accurate way to define Napalm. They combined punk, death and grind to form a sound unique to them. Best band in the last 35 years
Fuckin' Right!!!
It's amazing how accomplished this band is while still remaining somewhat obscure. They're still legit underground.
Don't forget industrial rock, noise rock and post-punk which were also key elements in their musical style! Of course the influence of early extreme metal bands like Celtic Frost, Possessed and Venom, as well as hardcore punk bands like Discharge, Amebix, Siege and Crass is obvious, but they've also acknowledged the influence of Sonic Youth, Killing Joke, Joy Division, the Swans and Head Of David, and I think that's also what makes them sound so unique among grindcore bands!
@@kasebmohamed5468 Jup, it is much more than just good ol´ heavy metal
I will throw hands in defence of Diatribes.
Same here, all of their mid to late 90s records are great.
I will throw hands if someone dares suggest to me there is a heavier, more extreme and more hardcore band than Napalm Death.
I will stand by your side to do so.
A bunch of death metal/grindcore bands started making "easy listening" music around that time. I was pretty stubborn in regards to accepting the changing sounds and most I just couldn't hack at all. Some i eased into later but Napalm Death it just felt natural. They'd kept the blast beats in there and the usual.
I stopped listening to this kinda music decades ago but looks like they're still going?!?
They were a phenomenal band and all the side projects i've heard from members of the band I'd always enjoyed at some point in my life.
I think maybe they're my real parents. I'm not sure which member was the donor of all that DNA and gave birth to me but I swear one day I will find out (but, relax, not on some shit daytime talk tv show. It'll be hush, hush)
Baaaaarneeeey. Are you my mum or my dad or both???
Great album. I don't think there is a Napalm Death album I hate. I like some more than others. I like all their styles.
You don’t need too mate, one of my faves
Covered this as a vocalist with Septic around 1999. Crowd went wild! Awesome tune!
Superb album! Still have it on cassette tape! 🤟
Barney gonna Barney regardless of era/direction. Love it.
Beautiful as ever. I loved you since 90's .
There's only two songs I'll dance to: "Groove is in the heart" by Deee Lite and this one.🤘
Holy crap, me too! That's awesome! 🤜🤛 🤘
glad to be born in 81...got to experience death metal before the turn of the century...back when you had to be "in the know" to know whens what and where lol
Napalm Death always great
🤘🏼Earache Records🤘🏼thank you for Uploading this Video👍🏼👍🏼
Diatribes// and Fear, emptiness and Despair 🤘🤘
Great albums, lets not forget harmony corruption, and Utopia banished. Their best 4 albums bro.
i learned to play drums thanks to this song.
This song is catchy as fuck and still heavy. Napalm deserves credit for making it through the late 90s numetal phase without writing complete shit bandwagon records.
Yes its prob Napalms most catchy song but still goes hard.
Qqq¹
That's because Napalm Death has one job on this planet and that's to be the heaviest and most extreme band, they don't eff with trends
I actually like ND's "Groove Metal" era of the 90's. They hve never put out a bad album.
@@MelancoliaIthe song cursed to crawl is full on nu metal and nothing but
One of they best ballad song
Love this album
I loved this it is still the most brutal pop song ever written. Groovy AF!!
Totalmente de acuerdo contigo
Pop song ??? WTF???
Fear Factory and Napalm Death my favorite band in 90s
New soul machine?
@@xgetxysm of course Demanufacture my first metal album
Sounds so Fear Factory like. And Fear Factory started out as a Napalm Death clone basically. Full circle.
yes
Not quite full circle. This was released in 1995 so predates Fear Factory's major success.
This is what Demanufacture would have sounded like if it was done in the SOANM style.
@@edwardchester1 Diatribes was released in 1996, Demanufacture in 1995.
Thumb down
The most alternative album of napalm
Great
Sorte do ouvinte! 🤘🏿😈🤘🏿
killing joke influence!
played it in my first proper school in Norwich England lol memories man
Dancegrind
You say that like it's a bad thing???
@@jcaterracing no, this song is one of my favorites
Napalm Death.....
First time I saw them live I was sold Ybor city with sepultura in the way back...
Think I was 16.....so like 89
Probably one of the best albums going it never grows old
It's like they turned into Therapy? For five minutes.
Love it!
I hated them for years until I heard Diatribes... But even I think that's a bit harsh lol!
I love this album and their 90s stuff
Brings me back
Discografia impecável
Experimentos, porém, sem perder a essência do napalm Death.
Bons tempos.
Napalm Death nunca decepcionou.....
One of the best grindcore songs EVEEER !!!!!
Well I don’t think this is grind core I think more groove metal
2022, still cranking this jam.
I didn't actually mind this album. Sure it's a far cry from Scum or Harmony Corruption, but it was still better than a lot of shit that was popular in the 90s and beyond. I still prefer Fear, Emptiness, Despair over this one.
Utopia Banished for me. But I love Diatribes, it's actually one of my favorites.
Yeah, bands change and progress in different directions.
Grindchillout
I don’t see the “chill out” in this song…just Napalm being brutal and awesome as always
The lust denies the need!
Napalm Death is the greatest metal band of EVER.
Agreed…no one else has put out so many great metal/grindcore albums
The last half of the album crushes.
Amazing!!
The Best album of ND ..and 1994 too!!!!!
❤❤ Love you guys.....since the 80's
Diatribes needs a vinyl re-issue!!
What hair was the most beautiful hair Barney had.👱🏻♀️🤩
Great song🔥🔥🔥
great song
thank you
Barney, Shane, Mitch, and Danny... recipe for sickness!!
Jesse Pintado too!
Y JESSE PINTADO WHERE
Yeah remembers from 90's
Fuck yeah! This takes me back!
I love it
Best of the best
Thei best song by far..
Great song and album..
Different to other Napalm Death stuff but still sounds good...
Grind Covid 🤘🏻
@Dr S4T4N u miss tha point

Grindcore*
@@stromboliman8132 This song is far more Groove Death Metal than anything close to grindcore.
@T. Rey Naplam death is grindcore poser

Why would they go to a terrorist country?
"nostalgie"
The bar time... 0:15
Napalm factory hahaha
I think this album was way ahead of Fear Factory or at least before FF was even popular LMAO
@@GiotheGhreat Greed Killing - from the album Diatribes - is from 1996.
Fear Factorys album Demanufacture was released in 1995, and is to date one of their most popular albums.
@Dr S4T4N Wow, you seem like a really nice and friendly person. Hugs and kisses!
@Dr S4T4N fuck off. Fear Factory rules
@@craigisaacs4686 I totally agree. They are not up to the level of Napalm Death but still a unique sounding band!
nice
Альбом "Diatribes" , должен стоять в одном ряду с такими шедеврами, как "Demanufacture", "Far Beyond Driven", "Roots", "Cleansing" , "Burn My Eyes" 🎸🤟
