How would you do it if the board feel either side of the door jam and there were two doorways next to each other please???

Basically, you will need to cut the board around the door jam in order to accommodate the LVP. you also can use quarter round molding (if possible) and not cutting the board around the door jam.

You need to work according to manufacture recommendation in my case it is not.

Scary! I wish you had cut that new piece on something other than the new floor. Even the subfloor would have been better to cut on. Hope your new floor didn't get cut.

Not only that but hitting the board on the end without a tapping block could be a mistake especially if you break the tongue & right there in the middle of a doorway is not where you want that or anywhere for that matter.Should always use a tapping block.
