Many years ago when the drinking age was 18 and colleges had bars Jackie opened for George Thorogood who was just starting out. We snuck around to the dressing rooms. Thorogood wanted nothing to do with us but when we went to Jackies room he was super nice and offered us a piece of fruit or a soda which was the entirety of what they provided for him. We were two snot nosed 18 year olds but he treated us like we were friends.

The show was never the same without Jackie. It was great with Artie but Jackie brought that 5 year old humor to the show just made a 2 hour commute fly by. Those years when it was Howard, Robin, Jackie, Fred and Billy in the studio were the absolute golden era. I used to pray for traffic so I could hear more of the show. You can't pay me enough to listen to the show today. I never in my wildest dream would believe I would hate the show considering how big of a fan I was.

I can't stand the real Stuttering John as he's a douchebag but John's celebrity trolling on the red carpet really helped the show kick off as it was beyond hilarious especially for the time period . Yes , I know that stuttering John didn't write the material , but I remember being around 13 years old with my buddies as we'd stay up late to watch Stern and for us the Stuttering John trolling was the best part of the show as we'd piss our pants laughing .

We never got anything Howard-related in Australia until the PRIVATE PARTS movie was released. But I already knew Jackie from many, many viewings of the COMEDY'S DIRTIEST DOZEN video.
That was also the first time I ever saw Otto and George, Chris Rock, Bill Hicks and Tim Allen.

Jackie should have kept John out of the movie, as sweet revenge for the incessant shit-talking and slanderous stuff John has said about him over the years, and continues to do so to this day.
John would have gone nuclear if he was left out, which would have been hilarious.

Jackie invented everything good about that show, if you believe him. He was even the only one that saw potential in the Sopranos. Classic drunk self-idolization.
