Took K2, D3, magnesium for 2 years. 2021 CAC score was 164 (radiologist noted improvement), cholesterol 249, LDL 182. Nevertheless I'm taking one tablespoon of sunflower lecithin. It lowered cholesterol 30 points in a few months. Next CAC scan will be July 2023. (LAD artery scores, 30, 99, 75 in those three scans two years apart.) EDIT: LECITHIN LOWERED MY CHOLESTEROL TO 199 BUT MY CAC SCORE INCREASED TO 297. No more lecithin for me.

The issue is is the foods which contain the best source of K2 are the very same foods your doctor will tell you to avoid like the black plague, eggs, cheeses, milks, fermented foods. You can turn K1 into K2 in your own gut but, chances are, if you're a 65 some year old with heart problems your gut won't be in the best health to begin with, thus you won't be able to convert it.
I was thinking about this. A friend did chelation and it helped his angina. I did the EDTA suppositories for a month while I was doing hardcore fasting and supplementing with fish oils, vit. Dr. Kopecky seems to be discouraging people from believing that heart disease can be reversed by food, live style changes and seems focused on cholesterol and statins until pressed to talk about diet, stress, live style change by Dr. Lopez Jimenez.
Yes he talks about reducing LDL but studies have shown it's not the LDL itself but damage to the LDL. So someone with in range LDL could have more inflammation than someone with high LDL but no inflammation. I also find this a little suspicious. The Framingharm heart study show higher LDL was associated with longer life and lowering LDL shortened life.
Another Statin produced video. I am in medical school. We actually studied and looked over the trails of Statins. They don’t reduce cardiac events. The difference in the thousands during the trails were not significant to even say they work. They will lower cholesterol which you need. Symptom: Arteries around the heart are not strong enough to resist high blood pressure. Damage is repaired with cholesterol to prevent worse. After years of repair, your arteries become clogged. Enough vitamin C supplement of at least 3000 mg. per day gives strong and flexible arteries. Cholesterol is not needed as a repair agent. @@danguee1 I'm a lawyer and I spend a lot of time reading the studies, terrible the crap structure of the studies. Oatmeal, oat bran and high-fiber foods Oatmeal contains soluble fiber, which reduces your low-density lipoprotein (LDL) cholesterol, the "bad" cholesterol. Soluble fiber is also found in such foods as kidney beans, Brussels sprouts, apples and pears. Soluble fiber can reduce the absorption of cholesterol into your bloodstream. Five to 10 grams or more of soluble fiber a day decreases your LDL cholesterol. One serving of a breakfast cereal with oatmeal or oat bran provides 3 to 4 grams of fiber. If you add fruit, such as a banana or berries, you'll get even more fiber. Fish and omega-3 fatty acids Fatty fish has high levels of omega-3 fatty acids, which can reduce your triglycerides - a type of fat found in blood - as well as reduce your blood pressure and risk of developing blood clots. In people who have already had heart attacks, omega-3 fatty acids may reduce the risk of sudden death. Omega-3 fatty acids don't affect LDL cholesterol levels. But because of those acids' other heart benefits, the American Heart Association recommends eating at least two servings of fish a week. Baking or grilling the fish avoids adding unhealthy fats. The highest levels of omega-3 fatty acids are in: Mackerel Herring Tuna Salmon Trout Foods such as walnuts, flaxseed and canola oil also have small amounts of omega-3 fatty acids.
What foods cause high LDL cholesterol? Foods that contain high amounts of saturated fat are the biggest culprits in raising your LDL cholesterol. Such foods include: Bakery items, like doughnuts, cookies and cake. Full-fat dairy products, like whole milk, cheese and butter. Red meats, like steak, ribs, pork chops and ground beef. Processed meats, like bacon, hot dogs and sausage. Fried foods, like French fries and fried chicken.
Dont eat foods with LDL and your body makes more, your body balances the level. 85% of cholesterol in your body is produced by your body, also for a very good reason you need it. Foods and poor lifestyle are the issues to correct and leave your body to correct itself

The CAC goes up because statins stabilize soft (dangerous) plaques and help to reinforce calcified plaques. Common for CAC's to go up on statins but actually that's a good thing because they help to stabilize. Change your diet and lifestyle of course to stop creation of soft plaques; statins won't solve everything, and do next to nothing if you aren't making real life changes. The real danger is the continued creation of soft plaques.

I must be a one off then. 50 year vegetarian, meditated for 45 years. In 2017 my CAC score was 107, cholesterol was 216, LDL 157. So I took atorvastatin for 2 years. 2019 new CAC score was 193, cholesterol was 117, LDL 71. Stopped the statin.
Take vitamin D3 (10k mg) and vitamin k2 (100mcg), the mk7 type. Best of luck.
I have a cac score of 4 and my Dr wants to Statin me, I won't do it, my cholesterol and tryglicerides aren't too bad, I'm going to naturally get my numbers corrected and stay away from statins🥴
@@zenfan1098 My husband had a CAC score of 0. It went up to 6 in four years. We paid for testing outside of our healthcare system. When his doctor saw he had a score of 6, and a systolic blood pressure of 112 at nearly age 75, she said he didn't need a statin despite his cholesterol of 220. The cholesterol isn't making plaque in his arteries.
Did you become a vegetarian at the first reading or always?

Excellent information. I just has stents placed in my LAD and Right Ventricle. I understand how important diet is. The Statin has lowered my LDL from 100 to 70, along with diet, in just 6 months.
But your plaque would still build up in the arteries, so the primary cause for the plaque both lipid and calcium needs to be removed
@@nayanmipun6784 removed yes, but removed via vitamin k2, k2 activates a protein called 'matrix GLA' which tells the body to take calcium out of the blood and store in in the bones and teeth and will go as far as to reverse the calcification of the soft tissue, arteries and joints.

D3, C, and K2, plus Na, K, Mag, baking soda water. My CAC was zero. I cannot say it was attributable to the chelation, but it possibly helped. There is no magic bullet.
Because, sadly, very few people are able to make the changes - see also "managing" type 2 diabetes ...

Another Statin produced video. I am in medical school. We actually studied and looked over the trails of Statins. They don’t reduce cardiac events. The difference in the thousands during the trails were not significant to even say they work. They will lower cholesterol which you need. But the other side effects cause more conditions down the road that require additional medication. It comes down to the process foods and carbohydrates. They caused the problems today.
I think cheese & too many fats & carbs caused my build-up of plaque in my arteries..
I don't want to take a statin, but do want to get rid of my plaque. I hear once it is there it is there! I think surgery is what they do when U have so much blockage in your arteries. Scurvy = No vitamin C in your diet.
Symptom: Your blood vessels break and you bleed to death. Think of the sailor of the past.
Scurvy of the heart = Just enough vitamin C from food.
Cholesterol in your coronary arteries is broken down and burned in your liver.

@@lpg12338 vitamin c supplementation is fine because humans don’t produce it, but these others you name are quite questionable …. And expensive.
@@slay2525 Expensive YES, questionable maybe. I had a small area the size of a quarter that looked like a lite purple bruise that I received at work, “got hit right about the left side of the pelvic area” it has been there for over two years with no change, two months after taking Endocalyx Pro it was 100% gone. Not sure what happened, but that was the only thing that I changed in my lifestyle.
NanobacTX has a good amount of supplements in it, which appear to be high quality, so the price per bottle is not to bad overall. I did have a C.A.C., C.I.M.T., and an A.B.I., all results were optimal for my age group.
Back to your original comment, I will continue taking these two, with the many others that I take and will see what happens as time progresses.

Yes to BluesLicks. As to louis the d, why do you think that only a medical doctor is qualified. Most doctors don't know much about the current research and are programmed to place you on statins.
i think INCLISIRAN (already avail) AND TRODUSQUIMINE (still at trial) along with blood pressure injections (still at trial) would revolutionize arterial disease soon
That's a very specific combination. I presume you are a qualified medical professional? Or PhD? Or at least post-grad? With those qualifications, you would be qualified to assess/appraise clinical trials and their progression. If not, you're just a lay person....

Oatmeal, oat bran and high-fiber foods
Oatmeal contains soluble fiber, which reduces your low-density lipoprotein (LDL) cholesterol, the "bad" cholesterol.
Fish and omega-3 fatty acids
Fatty fish has high levels of omega-3 fatty acids, which can reduce your triglycerides - a type of fat found in blood - as well as reduce your blood pressure and risk of developing blood clots.
The highest levels of omega-3 fatty acids are in:
Mackerel
Herring
Tuna
Salmon
Trout
Foods such as walnuts, flaxseed and canola oil also have small amounts of omega-3 fatty acids.
What foods cause high LDL cholesterol?
Foods that contain high amounts of saturated fat are the biggest culprits in raising your LDL cholesterol. Such foods include:
Bakery items, like doughnuts, cookies and cake.
Full-fat dairy products, like whole milk, cheese and butter.
Red meats, like steak, ribs, pork chops and ground beef.
Processed meats, like bacon, hot dogs and sausage.
Fried foods, like French fries and fried chicken.
@van chinatown Thanks!
Dont eat foods with LDL and your body makes more, your body balances the level. 85% of cholesterol in your body is produced by your body, also for a very good reason you need it. Foods and poor lifestyle are the issues to correct and leave your body to correct itself
Cholesterol is not the enemy the carbs that cause inflamation in body and damage the arteries are the villian

I had an angiography 2 weeks ago
Coronary angiography:
Left main stem unobstructed.
Left coronary artery:
70% stenosis of prox. RIVA, 50% stenosis of prox. RIM.
70% stenosis of LCX - Proximal. 70% stenosis of Mid.LCX
Right coronary artery:
80% stenosis of dist. RCA. 70% stenosis of med RCA.
Diagnoses:
1. coronary triple barrel disease.
- Coronary angiography elective with diagnosis of CHD on cardiac CT on 13.07.2023:
- Sign. proximal RIVA stenosis.
- RCX with long wall changes and sign. Stenoses proximal and in the middle section
- RIM with intermediate stenosis proximally
- RCA diffuse wall-angulated with sign. Stenoses proximal and distal
- Lavographically normal LVEF. no reg. motility impulses
- Cardiac CT in advance (Chur) with electrically path. Ergometry: diagnosis of CHD, Ca-score >1000
- CyRF: Art. Hypertension
Assessment: The 47-year-old patient is found to have quite advanced coronary three-vessel disease for his age with significant stenoses in the proximal RIVA, RCX and RCA. Stenoses in the proximal RIVA, RCX and RCA. The vessels have diffuse wall changes, but the connecting segments for an ACBP would be relatively small. The LVEF is normal. I discussed the findings with the patient at length and told him that the findings were not suitable for percutaneous revascularization. With the patient completely symptom-free, we decided to perform a cardiac MRI with a question about the extent of ischaemia. Then we discussed ACBP vs. drug therapy. In addition to the established medication, I prescribed atorvastatin and bisoprolol. Thank you

Higher LDL lowers all cause mortality.
