@wowyonie Dragonblight, dunno what this place is called, but it is at the southern shore, east from the middle of the map. You can go kill an elite bird for a quest there.
I disagree on one thing: I believe that empowered touch is an extremely viable talent for druid healers, especially when called upon to heal a tank. Empowered touch: 20 % bonus to nourish Glyph of Nourish: additional 6% heal from nourish per HoT on target. I almost always have 2 HoTs on tank, if not 3 or 4, so being specced and glyphed into nourish healing is an extraordinary tank healing tool. The high crit from Nature's Bounty often procs Nature's Grace making Nourish even better.
Some of it will be ok, because of the spell power and maybe haste, spirit and int on it. But you'd be missing some things like spell hit and maybe some crit.
I actually use Tranquility more than I use Swiftmend. I've put 2 points into Tranquility for the 3.2 cd and 100% threat reduction. I use at soon as it is available. It may cost a bit of mana but it's quickly covered by my MP5
im a resto druid and i use the following addons to help out. Grid (freakin awesome raid UI). Decursive (one mouse click decurse/abolish poison). And I hear that stuff like Healbot is great.. although that addon confuses me some. Try them out, shop around and find which ones work for you.
At lvls 1-79 you use Healing Touch, at 80 you do not use HT as it is shit, so at 80 you train Nourish and use it :) You ONLY use HT as a combination of Nature's Swiftness+Healing Touch, probably in a macro /cast Nature's Swiftness /cast Healing Touch, which gives you an instant heal, a bit less efective than Lay on Hands (with an advantage of only 3minutes cooldown, LoH has a 20m cooldown as far as I remember) With a 5.6 GS tree, about 3 months ago, with 2.5k sp it healed for ~23k
I use TukUI BUT i dont like how my loot log and chat log are seperate, Anyone know how I can set it up to where my loot/chat log are one. Just like Llego's is. if you see on the bottom right side of the screen. Thank you in advance.
@Azucar417 he is reading a script. If you look on the tankspot website and go to the topic about Restoration Healing it wil show the script he is using
yes but u will be needing some items with hit.... im using resto gear for balance with a staff that gives about 100 hit... a few hit on rings... trinket... and that should be enough but u wont be makin 2 much dps
Well they use spell power, and when leveling it helps, but as resto druids, there healers, not damage dealers, but they could do damage with balance spells but not great. There specced to heal, not cast damaging spells.
the spell u will need the most while healin in a dungeon low level is rejuvenation and regrowth i never used the solid healing one at least thats my experience all the way till 62
"Hi, I'm new to druid's. Never played one, but thinking of starting one up for future raiding experiences. Got any Tips on how to play it?" Think, before you talk. These guides are meant for covering Every Basic of a Play style Class. Not your personal Number Crunching Mania.
@MrKlikky OMG. I will pretend you diden't say that. What's not funny about 1337g? It stands for leet and if you have 1337g you're leet and that's EPIIIIIC!
when you're explaining specs, especially during the balance tree portion, it's not really necessary to explain the effects talents have on the spells we don't use.. it bloats the guide with useless information
THANK YOU! I asked for this guide and you delivered. Thank you very much tankspot.
The UI is mostly based on "Tuk UI".
Just a few additions, like Forte (cooldown-line) and Recount... He's probably also using Grid for the raid-frame.

where it's recorded. Kalomdor? I want to know it cause that is a really good place
@Revealman Oh k. In tree form are you able to use starfire? Thx alot for helpig me.
I must know what UI addons you are using. Please tell me,as it looks badass.
What UI is in this video.. It looks quite lovely.
How did u make those boxes at the bottom (incl. the small white stripes) ?
would you be able to make a video on how you heal useing your UI? i would love to be able to use it
What action bar is that? And secondly, what health bar is it also?
Cheers
Hey, whats the addon he is using, the interface one, [Map, Action bars at the bottom, and all that on the bottom, ?
hey i was just wondering, are restro druids moslty for raid healing and stuff or can do they do good dmg with damaging cast attacks like starfire?
In what order should you unlock them if you're only a lvl 20? Balance or restoration first?
Hey i was wondering if u could post a list of ur addons cuz im a resto druid and i love the way ur UI and interface looks :) thanks
@kincrazy
Totally depends on what you're doing. If you're doing 5 mans or greater, you will need hit rating, which resto gear does not have.
Anyone know what addons he is using? Would like to know what those nifty side bar things are, that tell you your gold, fps etc.
Thanks

Some of it will be ok, because of the spell power and maybe haste, spirit and int on it.

@Azucar417 he is reading a script. If you look on the tankspot website and go to the topic about Restoration Healing it wil show the script he is using
@LivingInDoubt You sir, deserve a medal! :)

addon name please?
He didn't say that , he meens you can use moonfire regularly , but didn't say you could starfire in tree form.
i use healing touch and nature's swiftness as a quick nuke heal to top the tank or a dps off
addons name?
I love his accent. Great guide too.
