And same with doing business for experiencing moneymaking, projects, challenges, goals, creativity. Both very cool choices.
I used to think like that, but go breaking mom on reddit, they suffer burn out cause their husband don't help with anything, if don't have money or a career you can't leave, first wave feminists were fighting for a reason, not because they think working is fun, but because women were losing their lives being dependents on their husbands, they can start to abuse you, cheat on you, just be usless, suffer a accident and be disable and not manage to work or can die? What the hell they were suppost to do away from the work force for years? Being a stay at home mom is not a safe option and can fuck up your entire life.
It all depends on how you get treated tbh. I wouldn’t enjoy being a housewife mainly cause I’d be bored out of my mind, but my boyfriend said that he could be a house husband easily. I guess in a way it also depends on how you are in general too.

She’s saying that now we have a women in power that can share her voice with/for us. I’m not saying being a housewife is bad btw, that’s why I put quotation marks Again, I said NOTHING about if men have it harder, if women get more lei way in society, if being a stay at home mom or dad is bad, NONE of that. Yes men have a lot of struggles too, people in general can’t just live life without being judged. Don’t put me in a box that says that I think that men don’t have struggles or that women need to be 100% treated on hand and foot. This is about one single issue, I know it’s not as much of a common thing people know about, and I said men in power because money and all that can blind you sometimes.
I mean I’ll take care of the kids and all as long as the guy works and he still helps a bit. There’s nothing wrong with being a stay-at-home mom, as long as the boy is still doing his part around the house
@@Acelyn_11 I disagree with helping a bit, atleast on the cleaning and cooking.(except for the first few years after childbirth) People don't realise how much you have to sacrifice to make enough money to support two people. You have to put consistent effort for atleast a decade and during that time the person has to limit his spending and time spend for leisure. Most men and women don't do this. So, they don't understand the idea that we had to put the effort in first and we are sharing that result with another. It really depends on what each person brings and the work each has to go through. I am not saying the wife should be burdened with work. But, if the work is little, don't expect 50/50.
But it’s not true? Women served MILLIONS in the workforce during WWII. Stop looking at leave it to beaver and those stupid ass advertisements. Number one to be a housewife you had to be at least middle class. What about poor women?
Is it really that great of an example though? Yes, it's cool that a woman, particularly one of color, got into such a high office, but it just doesn't really seem like an achievement when said woman doesn't seem to have accomplished anything or shown any real competence. It's just right back to using a woman as a showpiece because she has nothing of value to say.
Have you did your research I don't much her but I would have voted for someone whose not kamela like Candice Owens or something kamela's not even making a voice for black people

Honestly, women staying home to watch kids and cook is ok, same with a man doing it. Either way, the kids are important if they have any

Being a housewife is a choice. A very respectable one. It's a lot of hard work being a housewife, so women shouldn't get hate for it. But they should also be able to make their own decisions about a life outside of the home without being judged for it.
as a housewife i seriously appreciate this comment so much ( i have severe anxiety as well as other mental health issues that i am just beginning to work on so being a part of the workforce was honestly was hell in a hand basket for me , my husband saw how it affected me especially seeing me having a panic attack after trying to get back to the workforce after a year. he told me that i didn’t have to work IF I DIDNT WANT TO, keywords “I” big plus, is he is very money savvy to keep us not only comfortable financially, we still treat ourselves to vacations, fancy dinners, shopping sprees, etc etc. he’s truly a dream come true who also sees our marriage as equal and i always am able to access and share my opinion with how we deal with our finances.) :)
@@batty_bitch Well I'm glad you put your mental health first. It pains me to see women working their butts off only to be rewarded with stress and anxiety. I’m not saying being a housewife is bad btw, that’s why I put quotation marks
Again, I said NOTHING about if men have it harder, if women get more lei way in society, if being a stay at home mom or dad is bad, NONE of that.
Depends on who you date. Most rich dudes want housewives. (some one who takes care of the kids full time.)

@@Acelyn_11 I disagree with helping a bit, atleast on the cleaning and cooking.(except for the first few years after childbirth) People don't realise how much you have to sacrifice to make enough money to support two people. So, they don't understand the idea that we had to put the effort in first and we are sharing that result with another.
It really depends on what each person brings and the work each has to go through. I am not saying the wife should be burdened with work. But, if the work is little, don't expect 50/50.

Being a housewife is completely okay - bring made to be a housewife when youd rather be a doctor chef teacher racer ect is not okay. The importance here is choice. Everyone should have complete control and choice of what they want to do
True but the video is saying how only women can be a housewife in 1950s now they can be alot more then just a housewife
@@mrs.potato7131 naw alot of women and girls still don't get that choice. I knew a girl who had her famiky talking about marrying her off whe we were both 15. My mum was married off at 16. Mind you we live in the UK. In my community all women are expected to care about is marriage and kids so when you express not wanting kids or preferring a career over marriage adults come down heavy on you. Not only that but my grandparens and parents have both brrn saving up for me which i thought was swert at first but turns out it's not for a house or for tuition but for a wedding.
@@mrs.potato7131 yes i completely agree there are more choices but were still stuck somehow. You have to be lucky enough to be in a progressive area with a progressive family.
@@salmon4869 you always have a choice your parents don't control you. People who live in those family's don't have to live that way there is always a choice things have changed since the 1950s there were rules back then and there isn't now
@@mrs.potato7131 trust me alot of the girls on my community literally CANNOT disobey their parents. Im going to try and run away for university. Ill be in debt and struggling but ill be happy. Not everyone can run away though. Ive had to tell myself what's happening to me is wrong and then psych myself up to running away for 7 years. Even now im still scared.
This is awesome! Im actually doing an essay on the Declaration of Sentiments!❤
We need the 50s back.

I agree and I’m a women
I wanna be a housewife without a husband 😂😂
Don't get me wrong I am stoked that we finally have a FEMALE vice president but I wish it was someone else.

Yes. She is a corporate politician, selling us out like they all do.

Even into the seventies my grandpa had to open credit cards for my grandma. She was working, but she wasn't allowed a credit card or debit card. Utterly ridiculous
The 70's was 50 years ago. Come back to the future. This doesn't exist anymore.
@@zanehawkins5869 they were just saying how different it was back then
Lots of people couldn’t get credit cards in the 70’s, that was a big deal back then so even a lot of men couldn’t. Credit only became widely available starting in the 90’s probably to get people into more debt than they could handle.
Ridiculous utterly ridiculous 😌
@@zanehawkins5869 who gave u the top piece of bread bro? u dont have to be so rude about it
Men after hearing this 🥱🤫😑
THIS IS HILARIOUS OMG 😂😂😂
I hope she realizes that the vice president she is talking about is currently being done for cashing out money from charitys 💀
I think it's more the principle that a woman got such a high position of power and not the fact of what she does
@@Golden_Nerd yeah ig that makes sense but their just point that out

I'm not a fan of our vice president but I agree about letting women have rights

You do know women already have rights right?
@@Hitokiri1912 Yes, but those rights aren't equal to mens' rights.

This isn’t about Kamala or any woman leader being good/bad, it’s pointing out how far women’s rights have come.
Okay but we men are not over here saying "look how far mankind has gotten" because honestly mankind did make a difference in this world than rights for women in one country.
@@freecreak408 I’m sorry, could you rephrase that, I don’t think I understand what you mean.
Yes, humanity has made progress? I don’t see how this contradicts what I’ve said?
It’s not just in one country, women’s rights have been improving globally (albeit not everywhere). I don’t see what’s wrong with women being happy about how far their rights have come.
@@emn2375 yes I agree that there is nothing wrong with women celebrating how far they gotten.
@@freecreak408 Yeah no one cares.
@@R.S.G615 so you don't care that women celebrate their long time of women rights?
