RECON of THE UCI GRAVEL WORLD SERIES IN SWEDEN HALMSTAD (sort of)

- We could not get our hands on the official route for the Gravel Grit ’n Grind aka UCI Gravel World Series race in Halmstad Sweden, but they had a sketch of the route on their website. So we decided to try and plan a route in the same area that "looked" like the sketch on a map. This is our 'sort of' recon of the 2024 route starting near Halmstad.

It seems to be a really nice and fast route. No cars and really nice gravel. I'll have to try out the route when I'm in Sweden. 🤟🏻

The gravel up there is unreal. I think we met 3 cars on gravel roads in the 15 hours of riding we did. It was amazing
@@tobiasTbagerSounds perfect to me. Had a similar experience in denmark a few weeks ago. The gravel was unreal. Big and sharp stones. Is there a Strava Route from you guys available?

@@tobiasTbager There are a few gnarly gravel sections on my tour from Flensburg to Hemmet. However, the route is very mixed terrain wise. But if you want, you can also ride the route with less asphalt. This was for convenience reasons only, had some time pressure that day. I will ride the optimized tour again as soon as I have recovered.
