As someone who grew up in coastal New England, you NAILED this look. I've seen extremely similar houses all around me, it would not be out of place at ALL. Even the exterior clutter is spot on! Well done.
I love that sometimes you do landscape with more bushes, i feel that is more realistic since not everyone has time to maintain a very lush garden full of flowers
Beautiful build as always :) I would love to see a build for an adult aspired actor in Del Sol Valley that quit their job to start a new life. Their family would have to move with them and it would cause some trouble between the parent and the children who wanted to keep their lives as they were. I also had the idea of two young women dating that just got off college and start off their career. One would get her dreamjob and the other one would try to make things work for her by doing a random 9 to 5 and launch her own shop on plopsy. Hope this inspires you :)
i really love listening to the storyline for the family when you are speed-building. i wish there’s more of them. and i really hope that there will be a series of builds for different types of professions and jobs in sims. that would be so fun!! love your work as always❤️🔥

I am visiting my Uncles Nantucket home in September and they all look exactly like this I would recommend though that you add an outdoor shower area. It's usually just a showerhead surrounded by fences but a lot of houses have that because you would want to wash off your feet before entering into the house
sporty teen, “burnout” teen, band geek, teachers pet, exchange student from selvadorada or sulani, or a teen whose super into social justice. just some ideas for different teen rooms!
i adore your builds. i really like how you don’t hold back on decorating bedrooms a certain way. a lot of sims builders make really simple basic rooms so it can fit any style sim and so anyone can download it to play in but you really give your bedrooms and houses in general lots of thought and make them really unique. i really love your story’s as well, how you describe a teen you envision living in that room it just makes your videos so interesting 😊
The top area where you put the telescope is often called a widow’s walk on coastal homes! Where the wives of sailors would wait and watch for their husbands’ ships to come back to port or where they became a widow because some never came back.

I'm going to add this into my game ASAP! 🎮 would be a cool idea if the dad was a fisherman who caught his own fish/seafood and the wife sells it at their own fish market or seafood store in town!.
Teen bedroom theme ideas: Animal lover Pastel goth Yoga/zen/hippie More witch/wiccan/occult themes! Activist/artist Goth gamer/streamer Any of them could be popular sims, you could mix and match, and have any colour theme and still work! Personally I love blues and purples :P
Maybe the Get Famous shingles were related to some of the Old West movie set items? Not sure if wallpapers actually get used on the movie sets though. Or they go with the craftsman elements-those 2 blue windows. Up in the Bay Area, old shingled craftsman homes are super common, a style known as the First Bay Tradition.
Just did some quick research, and it sounds like the related Craftsman/American Arts and Crafts style was very popular in LA! Particularly in Pasadena, where the firm Greene and Greece was based. Shingles were a big feature on these homes too. They are definitely all spin offs of the Eastern Shingle Style though.
I love this!! Please build a lighthouse with the new round walls!! Maybe for a grumpy old retired seafarer and possibly his orphaned nephew/niece. That would be so cool
I think we can all agree we were VERY disappointed in Del Sol Valley. Couldn't believe we had zero beach lots or even some apartment options. I've loved Sims since the beginning but honestly, Sims 4 has made me feel like I'm in a toxic relationship with a partner that keeps giving me the bare minimum but I stay in hopes they'll change and give me what I deserve. LOL
