If ya don't have a rig buddy what can you use being in the desert with no trees? Or are ya just out of luck?

Use a strap around a boulder, bury a Hi-Lift handle or spare tire...basically think outside the box and create an anchor. Sometimes it doesn't take much effort to get something unstuck. And when all else fails, start digging!

What gear should the anchor vehicle be in? Reverse or parked?

if i have a car with winch, and i am trying to rescue a boged car .. what gears should the vehicles be? i cant find any video about it on utube.. should i put my car with winch in P gear? and rescued car should be in1st gear and floor the gas? or in neutral ?
