  • In today's video, Mike Mcgovney from OPST breaks down a little-known bit of knowledge about getting more delicate with our heads; just turn them around! Coined "Scandit" by our friends over in Europe, the concept is pretty simple. For more presentation-oriented fishing situations, one must simply turn their head around, with the label end of the head attached to the running line. From there simply add a floating tip or intermediate tip to the thin end (now the front of the line) and go to work. Mike breaks it down well for us, so sit back and enjoy!

I had Steve Godshall custom make me a commando smooth with an integrated float tip. That’s been my favorite line ever since.

It's a good way to achieve a more smooth line by switching it over.
