I’m so glad you checked this out before the close of the year. I can’t wait to get my hands on a physical copy once it gets released. A double feature with Nosferatu is a great idea.
I stumbled upon this little gem a few months ago whilst idlely searching for something interesting to watch. At first I didn't know what to make of it, but then when that character showed up I was mesmerized! Such an original and effective use of puppetry/animatronics. Its facial expressions and movements really exude menace and creepiness and create a truly unsettling atmosphere. Very well realized for an all round great little movie!
This is one of the year's best..I could see pairing it with Stopmotion for those interested in seeing effects other than CGI used to further, enhance a story
finally, something i saw before you almost a year before haha and story read way back in school, russian literature there is earlier version of that story in film, shot by mario bava in 1972, also very gothic good movie, weird how it was released
@@sinistercinemareviews5420 ah no, bava was in 1963, but there is another movie based on that story - la notte dei diavoli, italian one, also pretty good one
I think you guys and The Horror Guru record your videos in the same room. Lol. I love Black Sabbath. A Drop of Water is one of two films that gives me a chill when I watch it, but I see Wardulak as the weak point in both versions of the film. I'm curious to see this in hopes that they improve the story and seeing a puppet in a serious role is something different. I felt underwhelmed with Nosferatu, but I think the story itself is lame, so it's no surprise for me.

The Vourdalak, Devil's Bath and Red Rooms are the three best horror films of the year.
Love all 3
Darn wtf I never heard of any of these! I have to step my horror game up big time.
