You mention Morrison's work as requiring homework- I think you're absolutely right, it helps to know a lot about the universe they're playing in- I just want to stress to anyone reading this who is still on the fence about taking the plunge-
It. Is. Worth. It. If any comic writer could be rigjtly compared to James Joyce, it's Morrison. The work really does reward study.

I remember when S7 originally was released, I didn't read it but this has me wishing I had.

Definitely worth a read, both for the pure originality of having a "team" of Seven heroes that save the world without every meeting, and how the smaller pieces fit into the grand storyline. I believe DC is releasing an awesome looking Omnibus this year collecting the whole series, which would be a great way to pick it up. I might even have to re-buy in this case.

My favorite of the Multiversity stories is Pax Americana, as it’s Watchmen as it was originally intended.

Right on. This is a fantastic story that we've been wanting to go back and possibly dedicate a whole episode to. So many LAYERS!

did you get your name from Namor in 'Captain America: white'?

You bet. Not just Captain America: White though, I believe it's his go to battle cry when he's attacking, defending, or ordering carry out food.

Problem with comics is that you need to look up a lot to see if anything is connected, I read Multiversity when I first got into comics made absolutely no sense to me (Even though I understood the multiverse system in DC). I've been reading through Crisis books recently, and I heard I had to read this for Final Crisis, made no sense when I read it (didn't even know Morrison did it), but it was still a fun read

+Sarah Potter Only the finest in sub-quality lumber here in the studio basement. If your ears can't take the madness, jump to episode 4, where we upgrade to slightly less rickety bar stools. That is, if your heart can handle the excitement, true believer!
