- In this video, I analysed @NoFear-DRDISRESPECT's New Minecraft World Record Speedrun, and tried to explain all of the difficult strategies in simple terms, so that anyone can understand the whole speedrun! This is a 1 in 1.9 million speedrun!
This new Minecraft World Record is insanely optimised, as the first run to breach the 7m30s barrier. This is the first Minecraft World Record to use both Mapless Buried Treasure, and Zero Cycle, two awesome strategies - this could be an unbeatable speedrun!

@@小粒 wouldn't be if he would've waited for the blazes( the spawner wasn't rendered so it would've taken lot of time for the blazes to spawn) thus increasing the time by a LOT. He definitely wouldn't have gotten world record if he would've waited.
He definitely made the right choice. I'm pretty sure I would have waited if I would've been playing though. Broski really got no fear while risking a WR though

Eh but some things were incorrect. Eg u don't have to triangulate with two pearls anymore with the ninjabrain bot but can do it with one most of the time. NoFear just got very unlucky. Also many speedrunners still use the 1cycle

Sadly, the question in the title was never answered. I expected you cover some possible timesaves or where nofear lost time during the run and compare it to other runs, which had a similar pace etc.
That's what I was thinking as well. The title is misleading is all, it should've been something like wr analysis or explained or smth.
I know this doesn't matter to explain it to most people, but 4:53 is something that long annoyed me, because it's something that I didn't understand for the longest time. The mob cap doesn't apply to non-hostile mobs, because they (generally) don't respawn. They're kinda generated alongside the world, basically.
More accurately, this should show entities like endermen, creepers, skeletons, spiders, ...
The first few times I heard it, it never worked when I tried it out in the game -- until I heard the term "hostile mob cap", and then it clicked.
This is true - I just thought showing the concept with overworld mobs would be more simple for people to understand.
Maybe using overworld hostile mobs would've been better, you're right.
the mob cap applies to all mobs, it is just that different types of mobs have separate mob caps, there is a "passive mob cap" of 10 mobs (generally animals), there is also "ambient mob cap" which is 15 (for bats and fish), if you check F3 in game you can see these mob caps in a row of information, typically it'll say something like:
M: 70 (monsters), C: 10 (creatures), A: 15 (ambient)

Can someone explain NoFear to me? I watched his stream for the first time yesterday (always seen him in clips) and he spent roughly 80 to 90 percent of the time speedrunning while he had one arm behind his head, is that all his streams are? Does he not do anything but just sit there silently all day?

I can say for sure that while no fears world record is really good, it’s not close to being unbeatable. The nether enter was slow for wr runs, the fortress enter was also slow for wr runs, and the run was carried by an insane fort split and amazing zero. Zylenoxs former wr with no fears post going to nether cords is nearly, if not a sub 7. The end enter is Zylenoxs former wr is faster than this, so the record can definitely be beaten, which I actually see happening fairly soon. A sub 7:30 wr no even having a sub 5 “blind” is insane, and with there being so many sub 5 blind runs and faster paces I see a sub 7 within the next 6 months
not to forget crookst entering the stronghold at 5:27 a year and a half ago

At 6:20, something that I feel like is missing from a lot of the explanations is why you kinda have to high-roll if you're NoFear here. The run is on an amazing pace, for sure, but an experienced runner knows that if they don't leave on 5 here, there's basically a 0% chance of getting the world record, because you're just too slow.
That's the thing here, it's arguably not even high-rolling, because the high-roll is kinda forced, if that makes sense. Not high-rolling here would mean guaranteed no WR.
My point is: It's just plain good decision making, it's not gambling. It's skill to leave on 5, not luck.
