singapore's regulations now mandate that every storeroom be a bomb shelter to withstand invasions. it just means the walls are fortified and cannot be hacked for modifications. but residents really just use them as expensive storerooms
in case of war, this wld mean all residents in SG wld be able to seek shelter in their own homes, which is gd, but otherwise it is mostly used as a store room
