Good job mate👍 One of the first things I did to my ST was to replace all the suspension and mounts and polybush subframe etc

Nice to see you using Febi parts, they are OE quality and worth spending a little bit extra on. It all looks straight forward enough as long as the bolts all come undone. Looking forward to seeing the poly bushes.

Craig I am doing this job in a few days. As I renewed the hub/ bearing about one year ago I am thinking of removing this so that the strut/ knuckle will be easier to take out and put back in. The bearing is quite heavy. What are your views, its only 4 bolts.

Hi Chazz, how are you doing? I hear since two months on passenger side rear some kind on noise like metal is crouching specifically when i am passing speed bump. It becomes really annoying that noise. What could it be? The other side is very quiet.

I'm getting a knocking sound from the RR corner on hard left turns on my '98 Ford Contour. I wonder if it's the strut mount? I've checked the bushings and sway bar link and those look good.

How did you find out they had to be replaced, did you get some kind of thud sound when driving on bad road/passing speed bumps? I'm asking because i had them replace along with shocks, springs and that small linkage thing, and a few months after that i started to get this thud sound and it drive me nuts not being able to locate where it come from.
