Dont forget most of the force on the anitroll bar is a twisting force!! When the suspension moves the droplink it twists the BAR and the twisting force moves the drop link on the other side, keeping both suspension struts balanced. If you look at the old rubber one you will see a fibreglass layer (to reduce friction) which the BAR rotates in. When you fit the polybush there is NO FIBRE GLASS on the inside so it will wear, (Even after you have put the PTFE paste on the inside of the bush to help reduce friction between the twisting BAR and the polybush). Eventually the PTFE paste will disperse. Thats why there is a sacket of PTFE paste that comes with the bush.
Good video, bit different in practice, i sprayed penetrating oil into the end of the subframe to land on the blot thread inside. The 10mm bolt was nearly rounded off allready, the bolt undid 20mm, then comlpetely rounded off. GREAT! Nightmare stuff which happens in the real world. I jacked the bottom of the strut up untill the U bracket touched the subframe, leaving the bolt thread visable. I then hacksawed off the bolt head, lowered the strut again and the U bracket came off OK. Problem being removing a stud, bought a blue dot stud removing tool, which worked very well , stud removed OK. Tapped out the hole M8 x 1.25 and bought a U bracket kit off ebay with better M8 bolts which have bigger bolt heads. Fitted the new polybush into the U bracket. jacked up the bottom of the strut, Greassed the hole and the bolt. Fitted and tightened M8 bolt , job done.

Hi mate. I'm getting options for 20mm and 22mm when I go to buy the polly bushes. What ones are the correct ones?
Cheers.
Hiya mate, ive got all the details in the garage but im at home now. I will update everything tomorrow. That ok?
hiya, the rears i got are 22mm there should be a link in the video dicription, regards Chazz
This video was a great help, thank so much mate.
What is the correct name for those things that sit next to the Bush. Mine are gone. Can I buy those?
Whenever I strip a part. And removed from the car ... it’s only half a job done if it’s not painted or at least cleaned
Hi, what do you feel before you change the old bushes?
Hey Chas, is that aTorx head screw because I’ve just mullered mine with a ten mill socket. I’m gonna have to drill it now.
flo flex bushes are junk and the company will not respond to the complaint.
Ive had no issue as yet to be honest, but only time will tell
Sloppy work don't you ever clean your parts and always use Grease to lubricate rubber everything is not WD-40 mate
