If it won't run right when turned over on it's side, it is probably just a carburetor adjustment that is needed. There are other causes but it should run fine on its side
I have the 322l love it. I bought a new 330 had to return it... thinking the full filter is not in the right place from the factory... check that it's not getting enough fuel.. ?
Hello. It was weird, a few days after posting this it stopped doing it and never did it again. Not sure what it was. I thought the same thing about the filter though.
@@cleancutslawncare should do a follow up video it helps people get set in mind it's no good.. but it's awesome. Husqvarna is so overlooked and there the best trimmers. Most people don't know redmax is Husqvarna. Just slightly different in looks..

@@andrews2203I have the 525 the 94 and the 2620, personally all 3 are awesome. The only issue I have with the 525 is I feel like When I’m cutting I have to hold it at a slightly lower level so it cuts flat. On the 94 r I just don’t like the bulky fat head on it and on the 2620 the trigger throttle I’m not really a fan off. If you put the 525 trigger throttle on the 2620 the 2620 wins all day it’s just absolutely well balanced it looks nice as hell for a trimmer and just cuts all day
This happens with my red max 2620 when the fuel tank becomes less than half full... full fuel tank eliminates the problem when turning the trimmer over to do edging. Not sure why this is happening.
@@got2getit2042620 all day. That echo will outlive that 525 and they are so basically designed that if you gotta do maintenance you don’t have to dig thru layers of plastic just to change a fuel line or primer bulb
I hope this helps anyone who is deciding on this trimmer. I do recommend it, as long as your not using it as an edger. We have more reviews coming
As a wedger is great
@@claudiohysi9203 still running great
@@claudiohysi9203 I just didn’t like the vibration, but it actually stopped doing that.
I am all about that edging... Incredibly helpful review!!
You are spot on.
I used mine today for the first time. It was just easier for me not to go back to get the stick edger.
Exactly. I only stick edge to cut the edge out. I maintain it with the trimmer.
@@cleancutslawncare Especially when there are a few lots in a row.

Shortly after that video, it ran fine with no problems. Idk lol
I have the ls your rite about when u turn it over.
Great review!! Thank you - you’ve helped me make my decision on this unit.
No problem
I could definitely hear the difference. Thx for sharing this!

Excellent idea. I got you.
Leaning the high screw out significantly reduced it on mine. Mine was tuned super rich from the factory though.
I did some adjustments as well. Never really did it again after that.
@@cleancutslawncare mine was almost 1800 rpm lower than what it should have been
I’ve never had the upside down problem on my 525l
Again, it stopped doing that shortly after this was filmed. I actually bought a 2nd one and this year buying another. 525L
Me too I have the same one here on the islands and I use it all the time .I never had a problem flip in it doing the fences at all it's a great machine
Not being able to turn it upside down is a deal breaker for me. Thanks for the review.
It actually stopped doing that after a few days. Never did it again. I actually just bought another one. Same exact one.
@@cleancutslawncare Awesome. Thanks for the quick reply.
@Nathan-wn5mc you got it
I thought it was just me I have that weed eater also I noticed that when I turn it upside down also thank you very much
I took the guard off last week during my route, (which I don’t suggest, due to safety) but it stopped vibrating like that.
Could you adjust the carburetor highs and lows to fix that bogging when it’s flipped for edging?
It never did it again after this video was made. Idk why. It’s just how it happened lol
I’m trying to like it! I hate trimming!
You have the same trimmer?
You ever use the stihl 94r string trimmer?
No I haven’t. How is it buddy? You like it?
@@cleancutslawncare it’s great just wondering if this husky is better or not
@@andrews2203 man, I have used SOME Stihl, and I would say stihl is hands down the best brand. Even tho I went with husqvarna.

I have the same thing with holding it lower. And at a small Angle as well.
Try a 525LST. The new one came out recently LST 2.

Same here
When low on fuel and you turn it the filter pickup in fuel line comes out of the fuel..fill the tank when using in that position.
@ronaldnorris2179 it never did it again after making this video. Very weird lol
found one of these on facebook for 150. How is yours holding up
Lasted a couple years. Carb went out. Replaced it with a new carb but it’s after market and over heats. Bought a new one. Going to try stihl next.
Mines runs upside down with no issues
It stopped doing that just after making this video. Never started doing it again.
@@cleancutslawncare cool deal. I enjoy mines. It has tons of power and starts right up every time. Had it 4 years now.
Loving mines
Just did a full tune up on mine, and my 525ecs edger. Running like brand new.
@@cleancutslawncare 🔥🔥🔥
My 525's have never bogged down when upside down so that's strange it's happening with that one.

You turned it past it’s half way. I have the 525LS and their great. That sounded a little rich when you turned it.
That problem stopped after a week or 2 and never came back. Still running that same trimmer. Haven’t tried the LS Maybe this year.
I got one for my house, and runs pretty well.
Yea I’m still running the same one. It’s great. Might grab a 2nd one this year.
Good info 👍
Thank you. I’m still running that same trimmer to this day. It’s been great.
