The MP5K is Imho, better than the standard MP5 in this game. With AP, you can even be effective against mid and late game enemies and a burst only costs 4 AP. CQC specialist is really good when you want to create a playstyle around this kind of gameplay.

I just got Mouse after several people said not to. Her skills is insane! I didn't know I could train specific traits. Mouse is amazing! 💯 👍🏾
mouse is awesome. works well with sniper rifle and assault rifle. dont bother with smg.
The mercs with high starting stats are the best. Even if they don't have flashy unique skills they can get the strong perks fast.
...why the hell would anyone not hire Mouse? She's knifed whole outposts full of people on my game.
this is the reason why you dont use SMGs. fully modded mp5k doing measly damage. might as well use assault rifle with prism and shoot behind cover.
