    This looks 100 times more efficient than what I've been doing to clean the grout. I need one of those machines right away.

    Still learning which brushes work well on what surfaces with the Oreck, so these videos are _super_ helpful.
    I've been cleaning my Sister's coated garage with the orange brush and some Carpet Details.
    The Carpet Details is a nice formula, because it takes the same two scoops of powder for both carpet and concrete, so I can clean the garage with any leftover solution I have from other jobs.
    Anywho, I was initially afraid of scratching the epoxy, but it's been working _wonderfully._
    Only places I've needed to be sensitive around were areas where the coating was already cracking.
    Edit: I like how you used the brush as a driver for the giant pad - I've thought about doing that when the situation warrants it, and that makes me want to give it a try.
    Had the same idea when I saw the bigger OP machines that use brushes for their pad-drivers.

    Love your videos, thank you very much for your time and information on how you do such a good tile job. You have proved you can get great results with a polished. I want to ask you, I saw that you once made a wet vac into an extraction wand to remove water from indoor tile cleaning. My question is, how would you rate a MOSMATIC surface cleaner WITH vacuum port. So, you could basically clean tile and grout like a truck mount, as in hit the tiles with water from pressure water/gun and not get water everywhere, because the mosmatic would vacuum it out to a drain. Which technique would get better results 1 (scrubbing or pressure), and which method would be easier for the operator 2?

    With the chemicals that you use, what kind of risk do they pose to any nearby wood such as cabinets or flooring? I noticed you saying that you spray the tile more lightly by the wood flooring edges to reduce overflow. Is there anything that you do to protect them besides trying not spray too close? Do you neutralize them with the vinegar just in case? Do you wipe it down by hand with a clean cloth afterwards to remove chemicals? How much spray does the Oreck kick up onto cabinets and nearby floors? That’s the only part that has me nervous about doing this myself.
    Thanks for the videos that you have made! I find them very helpful.

    • @CarpetMuscleTV
      @CarpetMuscleTV  3 роки тому

      It won’t hurt the wood, but at the same time it doesn’t seem reasonable to put the wood floor through the same treatment that the tile is getting if you can avoid it. The Oreck doesn’t kick up any cleaning solution. The bigger machines will. I recommend using the Oreck in small areas.

    • @CarpetMuscleTV
      @CarpetMuscleTV  Рік тому +1

      You want to select a brush that the bristles stay erect. If it is too soft they bend and don’t agitate. If they are too stiff it’s ineffective. Red usually works best on tile and concrete.

    Hi there thank you for the videos they are great. I was wondering if you could offer me some help cleaning my floor. I have a very textured porcelain tile floor in my kitchen. I bought the oreck orbiter with a blue brush and the brush seems to not even touch the dirt on the floor if I hold it in the same spot for a minute, where as if I take a small scrub brush and do it by hand the area some clean. Am I using the wrong brush, are the bristles to stiff? Should I use a green or black brush or any cleaner I can try out?

    • @CarpetMuscleTV
      @CarpetMuscleTV  3 роки тому +2

      Change your cleaning solution to something stronger. Use zep floor stripper from Home Depot. Mix it 50/50 with water. This will dissolve whatever is on the floor.

    • @CarpetMuscleTV
      @CarpetMuscleTV  3 роки тому

      @@jonathondenys6843 i tend to use the red brush the most. There is a chance that you may be trying to remove floor finish if it was mistakenly applied. Mop n glow is common. This will require the mix I mentioned and a black pad under the Oreck to remove more efficiently
