Thank you for answering my previous questions. I wanted to ask a few more questions if you do not mind. Why did you not use the Oreck to extract the dirty solution water, was it just easier to extract with the shop vac?
Beaides Soft Scrub, the only other cleaner you use is Zep Floor Stripper? Do you still use it for tile as a pre spray? Also, why do you need to go back over the grout with Soft Scrub? Thank you!
I recently found a neutralizer at a janitor supply shop that you mix with water. It’s extremely concentrated and smells great. It’s about $15 for the gallon. For me it’s much better than the smell of vinegar, but I know it’s more expensive than the vinegar though.
Hold the can 10” above the lines and spray. The can has a special nozzle that sprays straight down. Then I just use a flat mop (dry) not the heavy grey one you see use using to neutralize with vinegar, but just flat. This way the sealer stays in the lines and any surface over spray gets mopped up.
Looks great! Why are you sing a stripper? Also, doesn’t the vintage break down the grout? Was taught to dump the gross water down the toilet. Is it ok to dump down the sink too? Thanks!
Kudos to your Wife she's real trooper.Great job you two
i like using a grout brush for all the lines. then orbiter to clean off the tiles. followed by a tile wand rinse and squeegee.
Thank you for showing the products that you use.
You’re welcome! Happy to share!
And people say carpets are dirty!! I like the Soft scrub trick, nice job.

Vacuum lifts dirt up out of grout. Oreck would smear it
Amazing job😊
Can you put a link to where you bought that grout brush with a pole and also that pole that rectangular mop?
Home Depot

Sounds awesome. I use powdered citric acid that I buy on Amazon Amazon. Works great.
@Pro Carpet Cleaning Are the Encap products such as Dragon Citrus not strong enough for these type of tile jobs? What are your thoughts?
They work too.
Do you have to use the tile brush after the orbiter? I was thinking if you use the orange brush it would take care of the scrubbing the grout.
You can if looks like it needs it
Doing grout never looks right till it's dry.But when its Dry Wow !! Making it a challenge for me.But overcomeable.
does this clean the tiles themselves, or just more so the grout?
If we’re concentrating on the grout, we use a manual grout brush. In this video, I believe we were just cleaning and sealing the surface.
Do you have a link to the machine that you are using?
Oreck Orbiter. Amazon
What spray or cleaning agent are you using?
Green dragon from the endcap store
How you apply the grout sealer? 🤔

David Oreck will be 100 9/17/23.
Is he the inventor? Still alive? Thanks for the info. Hans
Yes I googled it. WoWzer! He’s still alive at 99. Sweet. And the family history was an interesting read. Thanks again 👍🏼
